Proverbes 27:1 Ne te vante pas du lendemain, Car tu ne sais pas ce qu`un jour peut enfanter.	Proverbs 27:1 Boast not thyself of tomorrow; For thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.
Proverbes 27:2 Qu`un autre te loue, et non ta bouche, Un étranger, et non tes lèvres.	Proverbs 27:2 Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; A stranger, and not thine own lips.
Proverbes 27:3 La pierre est pesante et le sable est lourd, Mais l`humeur de l`insensé pèse plus que l`un et l`autre.	Proverbs 27:3 A stone is heavy, and the sand weighty; But a fool's vexation is heavier than they both.
Proverbes 27:4 La fureur est cruelle et la colère impétueuse, Mais qui résistera devant la jalousie?	Proverbs 27:4 Wrath is cruel, and anger is overwhelming; But who is able to stand before jealousy?
Proverbes 27:5 Mieux vaut une réprimande ouverte Qu`une amitié cachée.	Proverbs 27:5 Better is open rebuke Than love that is hidden.
Proverbes 27:6 Les blessures d`un ami prouvent sa fidélité, Mais les baisers d`un ennemi sont trompeurs.	Proverbs 27:6 Faithful are the wounds of a friend; But the kisses of an enemy are profuse.
Proverbes 27:7 Celui qui est rassasié foule aux pieds le rayon de miel, Mais celui qui a faim trouve doux tout ce qui est amer.	Proverbs 27:7 The full soul loatheth a honeycomb; But to the hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet.
Proverbes 27:8 Comme l`oiseau qui erre loin de son nid, Ainsi est l`homme qui erre loin de son lieu.	Proverbs 27:8 As a bird that wandereth from her nest, So is a man that wandereth from his place.
Proverbes 27:9 L`huile et les parfums réjouissent le coeur, Et les conseils affectueux d`un ami sont doux.	Proverbs 27:9 Oil and perfume rejoice the heart; So doth the sweetness of a man's friend [that cometh] of hearty counsel.
Proverbes 27:10 N`abandonne pas ton ami et l`ami de ton père, Et n`entre pas dans la maison de ton frère au jour de ta détresse; Mieux vaut un voisin proche qu`un frère éloigné.	Proverbs 27:10 Thine own friend, and thy father's friend, forsake not; And go not to thy brother's house in the day of thy calamity: Better is a neighbor that is near than a brother far off.
Proverbes 27:11 Mon fils, sois sage, et réjouis mon coeur, Et je pourrai répondre à celui qui m`outrage.	Proverbs 27:11 My son, be wise, and make my heart glad, That I may answer him that reproacheth me.
Proverbes 27:12 L`homme prudent voit le mal et se cache; Les simples avancent et sont punis.	Proverbs 27:12 A prudent man seeth the evil, [and] hideth himself; [But] the simple pass on, [and] suffer for it.
Proverbes 27:13 Prends son vêtement, car il a cautionné autrui; Exige de lui des gages, à cause des étrangers.	Proverbs 27:13 Take his garment that is surety for a stranger; And hold him in pledge [that is surety] for a foreign woman.
Proverbes 27:14 Si l`on bénit son prochain à haute voix et de grand matin, Cela est envisagé comme une malédiction.	Proverbs 27:14 He that blesseth his friend with a loud voice, rising early in the morning, It shall be counted a curse to him.
Proverbes 27:15 Une gouttière continue dans un jour de pluie Et une femme querelleuse sont choses semblables.	Proverbs 27:15 A continual dropping in a very rainy day And a contentious woman are alike:
Proverbes 27:16 Celui qui la retient retient le vent, Et sa main saisit de l`huile.	Proverbs 27:16 He that would restrain her restraineth the wind; And his right hand encountereth oil.
Proverbes 27:17 Comme le fer aiguise le fer, Ainsi un homme excite la colère d`un homme.	Proverbs 27:17 Iron sharpeneth iron; So a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.
Proverbes 27:18 Celui qui soigne un figuier en mangera le fruit, Et celui qui garde son maître sera honoré.	Proverbs 27:18 Whoso keepeth the fig-tree shall eat the fruit thereof; And he that regardeth his master shall be honored.
Proverbes 27:19 Comme dans l`eau le visage répond au visage, Ainsi le coeur de l`homme répond au coeur de l`homme.	Proverbs 27:19 As in water face [answereth] to face, So the heart of man to man.
Proverbes 27:20 Le séjour des morts et l`abîme sont insatiables; De même les yeux de l`homme sont insatiables.	Proverbs 27:20 Sheol and Abaddon are never satisfied; And the eyes of man are never satisfied.
Proverbes 27:21 Le creuset est pour l`argent, et le fourneau pour l`or; Mais un homme est jugé d`après sa renommée.	Proverbs 27:21 The refining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold; And a man is [tried] by his praise.
Proverbes 27:22 Quand tu pilerais l`insensé dans un mortier, Au milieu des grains avec le pilon, Sa folie ne se séparerait pas de lui.	Proverbs 27:22 Though thou shouldest bray a fool in a mortar with a pestle along with bruised grain, Yet will not his foolishness depart from him.
Proverbes 27:23 Connais bien chacune de tes brebis, Donne tes soins à tes troupeaux;	Proverbs 27:23 Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, [And] look well to thy herds:
Proverbes 27:24 Car la richesse ne dure pas toujours, Ni une couronne éternellement.	Proverbs 27:24 For riches are not for ever: And doth the crown endure unto all generations?
Proverbes 27:25 Le foin s`enlève, la verdure paraît, Et les herbes des montagnes sont recueillies.	Proverbs 27:25 The hay is carried, and the tender grass showeth itself, And the herbs of the mountains are gathered in.
Proverbes 27:26 Les agneaux sont pour te vêtir, Et les boucs pour payer le champ;	Proverbs 27:26 The lambs are for thy clothing, And the goats are the price of the field;
Proverbes 27:27 Le lait des chèvres suffit à ta nourriture, à celle de ta maison, Et à l`entretien de tes servantes.	Proverbs 27:27 And [there will be] goats' milk enough for thy food, for the food of thy household, And maintenance for thy maidens.
