Psaumes 4:1 Au chef des chantres. Avec instruments à cordes. Psaume de David. Quand je crie, réponds-moi, Dieu de ma justice! Quand je suis dans la détresse, sauve-moi! Aie pitié de moi, écoute ma prière!	Psalms 4:1 For the Chief Musician; on stringed instruments. A Psalm of David. Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness; Thou hast set me at large [when I was] in distress: Have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.
Psaumes 4:2 Fils des hommes, jusques à quand ma gloire sera-t-elle outragée? Jusques à quand aimerez-vous la vanité, Chercherez-vous le mensonge? -Pause.	Psalms 4:2 O ye sons of men, how long shall my glory be turned into dishonor? [How long] will ye love vanity, and seek after falsehood? Selah
Psaumes 4:3 Sachez que l`Éternel s`est choisi un homme pieux; L`Éternel entend, quand je crie à lui.	Psalms 4:3 But know that Jehovah hath set apart for himself him that is godly: Jehovah will hear when I call unto him.
Psaumes 4:4 Tremblez, et ne péchez point; Parlez en vos coeurs sur votre couche, puis taisez-vous. -Pause.	Psalms 4:4 Stand in awe, and sin not: Commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah
Psaumes 4:5 Offrez des sacrifices de justice, Et confiez-vous à l`Éternel.	Psalms 4:5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, And put your trust in Jehovah.
Psaumes 4:6 Plusieurs disent: Qui nous fera voir le bonheur? Fais lever sur nous la lumière de ta face, ô Éternel!	Psalms 4:6 Many there are that say, Who will show us [any] good? Jehovah, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.
Psaumes 4:7 Tu mets dans mon coeur plus de joie qu`ils n`en ont Quand abondent leur froment et leur moût.	Psalms 4:7 Thou hast put gladness in my heart, More than [they have] when their grain and their new wine are increased.
Psaumes 4:8 Je me couche et je m`endors en paix, Car toi seul, ô Éternel! tu me donnes la sécurité dans ma demeure.	Psalms 4:8 In peace will I both lay me down and sleep; For thou, Jehovah, alone makest me dwell in safety.
