Genèse 36:1 Voici la postérité d`Ésaü, qui est Édom.	Genesis 36:1 Now these are the generations of Esau, that is to say, Edom.
Genèse 36:2 Ésaü prit ses femmes parmi les filles de Canaan: Ada, fille d`Élon, le Héthien; Oholibama, fille d`Ana, fille de Tsibeon, le Hévien;	Genesis 36:2 Esau's wives were women of Canaan: Adah, the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Oholibamah, the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite,
Genèse 36:3 et Basmath, fille d`Ismaël, soeur de Nebajoth.	Genesis 36:3 And Basemath, Ishmael's daughter, the sister of Nebaioth.
Genèse 36:4 Ada enfanta à Ésaü Éliphaz; Basmath enfanta Réuel;	Genesis 36:4 Adah had a son Eliphaz; and Basemath was the mother of Reuel;
Genèse 36:5 et Oholibama enfanta Jéusch, Jaelam et Koré. Ce sont là les fils d`Ésaü, qui lui naquirent dans le pays de Canaan.	Genesis 36:5 Oholibamah was the mother of Jeush, Jalam, and Korah; these are the sons of Esau, whose birth took place in the land of Canaan.
Genèse 36:6 Ésaü prit ses femmes, ses fils et ses filles, toutes les personnes de sa maison, ses troupeaux, tout son bétail, et tout le bien qu`il avait acquis au pays de Canaan, et il s`en alla dans un autre pays, loin de Jacob, son frère.	Genesis 36:6 Esau took his wives and his sons and his daughters, and all the people of his house, and his beasts and his cattle and all his goods which he had got together in the land of Canaan, and went into the land of Seir, away from his brother Jacob.
Genèse 36:7 Car leurs richesses étaient trop considérables pour qu`ils demeurassent ensemble, et la contrée où ils séjournaient ne pouvait plus leur suffire à cause de leurs troupeaux.	Genesis 36:7 For their wealth was so great that the land was not wide enough for the two of them and all their cattle.
Genèse 36:8 Ésaü s`établit dans la montagne de Séir. Ésaü, c`est Édom.	Genesis 36:8 So Esau made his living-place in the hill-country of Seir (Esau is Edom).
Genèse 36:9 Voici la postérité d`Ésaü, père d`Édom, dans la montagne de Séir.	Genesis 36:9 And these are the generations of Esau, the father of the Edomites in the hill-country of Seir:
Genèse 36:10 Voici les noms des fils d`Ésaü: Éliphaz, fils d`Ada, femme d`Ésaü; Réuel, fils de Basmath, femme d`Ésaü.	Genesis 36:10 These are the names of Esau's sons: Eliphaz, the son of Esau's wife Adah, and Reuel, the son of Esau's wife Basemath.
Genèse 36:11 Les fils d`Éliphaz furent: Théman, Omar, Tsepho, Gaetham et Kenaz.	Genesis 36:11 The sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam, and Kenaz.
Genèse 36:12 Et Thimna était la concubine d`Éliphaz, fils d`Ésaü: elle enfanta à Éliphaz Amalek. Ce sont là les fils d`Ada, femme d`Ésaü.	Genesis 36:12 And Eliphaz, the son of Esau, had connection with a woman named Timna, who gave birth to Amalek: all these were the children of Esau's wife Adah.
Genèse 36:13 Voici les fils de Réuel: Nahath, Zérach, Schamma et Mizza. Ce sont là les fils de Basmath, femme d`Ésaü.	Genesis 36:13 And these are the sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah: they were the children of Esau's wife Basemath.
Genèse 36:14 Voici les fils d`Oholibama, fille d`Ana, fille de Tsibeon, femme d`Ésaü: elle enfanta à Ésaü Jéusch, Jaelam et Koré.	Genesis 36:14 And these are the sons of Esau's wife Oholibamah, the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Zibeon: she was the mother of Jeush, Jalam, and Korah.
Genèse 36:15 Voici les chefs de tribus issues des fils d`Ésaü. -Voici les fils d`Éliphaz, premier-né d`Ésaü: le chef Théman, le chef Omar, le chef Tsepho, le chef Kenaz,	Genesis 36:15 These were the chiefs among the sons of Esau: the sons of Eliphaz, Esau's first son: Teman, Omar, Zepho, Kenaz,
Genèse 36:16 le chef Koré, le chef Gaetham, le chef Amalek. Ce sont là les chefs issus d`Éliphaz, dans le pays d`Édom. Ce sont les fils d`Ada.	Genesis 36:16 Korah, Gatam, Amalek: all these were chiefs in the land of Edom, the offspring of Eliphaz, the seed of Adah.
Genèse 36:17 Voici les fils de Réuel, fils d`Ésaü: le chef Nahath, le chef Zérach, le chef Schamma, le chef Mizza. Ce sont là les chefs issus de Réuel, dans le pays d`Édom. Ce sont là les fils de Basmath, femme d`Ésaü.	Genesis 36:17 And these are the sons of Esau's son Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, Mizzah: these were the chiefs of Reuel in the land of Edom, the children of Esau's wife Basemath.
Genèse 36:18 Voici les fils d`Oholibama, femme d`Ésaü: le chef Jéusch, le chef Jaelam, le chef Koré. Ce sont là les chefs issus d`Oholibama, fille d`Ana, femme d`Ésaü.	Genesis 36:18 And these are the sons of Esau's wife Oholibamah: Jeush, Jalam, and Korah: these were the chiefs who came from Esau's wife Oholibamah, daughter of Anah.
Genèse 36:19 Ce sont là les fils d`Ésaü, et ce sont là leurs chefs de tribus. Ésaü, c`est Édom.	Genesis 36:19 These were the sons of Esau (that is, Edom), and these were their chiefs.
Genèse 36:20 Voici les fils de Séir, le Horien, anciens habitants du pays: Lothan, Schobal, Tsibeon, Ana,	Genesis 36:20 These are the sons of Seir the Horite who were living in that country; Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah,
Genèse 36:21 Dischon, Etser, et Dischan. Ce sont là les chefs des Horiens, fils de Séir, dans le pays d`Édom.	Genesis 36:21 Dishon, Ezer, and Dishan: these are the chiefs of the Horites, offspring of Seir in the land of Edom.
Genèse 36:22 Les fils de Lothan furent: Hori et Hémam. La soeur de Lothan fut Thimna.	Genesis 36:22 The children of Lotan were Hori and Hemam; Lotan's sister was Timna.
Genèse 36:23 Voici les fils de Schobal: Alvan, Manahath, Ébal, Schepho et Onam.	Genesis 36:23 And these are the children of Shobal: Alvan, Manahath, Ebal, Shepho, and Onam.
Genèse 36:24 Voici les fils de Tsibeon: Ajja et Ana. C`est cet Ana qui trouva les sources chaudes dans le désert, quand il faisait paître les ânes de Tsibeon, son père.	Genesis 36:24 And these are the children of Zibeon: Aiah and Anah; that same Anah who made the discovery of the water-springs in the waste land, when he was looking after the asses of his father Zibeon.
Genèse 36:25 Voici les enfants d`Ana: Dischon, et Oholibama, fille d`Ana.	Genesis 36:25 And these are the children of Anah: Dishon and Oholibamah his daughter.
Genèse 36:26 Voici les fils de Dischon: Hemdan, Eschban, Jithran et Karen.	Genesis 36:26 These are the children of Dishon: Hemdan, Eshban, Ithran, and Keran.
Genèse 36:27 Voici les fils d`Etser: Bilhan, Zaavan et Akan.	Genesis 36:27 These are the children of Ezer: Bilhan, Zaavan, and Akan.
Genèse 36:28 Voici les fils de Dischan: Uts et Aran.	Genesis 36:28 These are the children of Dishan: Uz and Aran.
Genèse 36:29 Voici les chefs des Horiens: le chef Lothan, le chef Schobal, le chef Tsibeon, le chef Ana,	Genesis 36:29 These were the Horite chiefs: Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah,
Genèse 36:30 le chef Dischon, le chef Etser, le chef Dischan. Ce sont là les chefs des Horiens, les chefs qu`ils eurent dans le pays de Séir.	Genesis 36:30 Dishon, Ezer, and Dishan. Such were the Horite chiefs in their order in the land of Seir.
Genèse 36:31 Voici les rois qui ont régné dans le pays d`Édom, avant qu`un roi régnât sur les enfants d`Israël.	Genesis 36:31 And these are the kings who were ruling in the land of Edom before there was any king over the children of Israel.
Genèse 36:32 Béla, fils de Béor, régna sur Édom; et le nom de sa ville était Dinhaba.	Genesis 36:32 Bela, son of Beor, was king in Edom, and the name of his chief town was Dinhabah.
Genèse 36:33 Béla mourut; et Jobab, fils de Zérach, de Botsra, régna à sa place.	Genesis 36:33 At his death, Jobab, son of Zerah of Bozrah, became king in his place.
Genèse 36:34 Jobab mourut; et Huscham, du pays des Thémanites, régna à sa place.	Genesis 36:34 And at the death of Jobab, Husham, from the country of the Temanites, became king in his place.
Genèse 36:35 Huscham mourut; et Hadad, fils de Bedad, régna à sa place. C`est lui qui frappa Madian dans les champs de Moab. Le nom de sa ville était Avith.	Genesis 36:35 And at the death of Husham, Hadad, son of Bedad, who overcame the Midianites in the field of Moab, became king; his chief town was named Avith.
Genèse 36:36 Hadad mourut; et Samla, de Masréka, régna à sa place.	Genesis 36:36 And at the death of Hadad, Samlah of Masrekah became king.
Genèse 36:37 Samla mourut; et Saül, de Rehoboth sur le fleuve, régna à sa place.	Genesis 36:37 And at the death of Samlah, Shaul of Rehoboth by the River became king in his place.
Genèse 36:38 Saül mourut; et Baal Hanan, fils d`Acbor, régna à sa place.	Genesis 36:38 And at the death of Shaul, Baal-hanan, son of Achbor, became king.
Genèse 36:39 Baal Hanan, fils d`Acbor, mourut; et Hadar régna à sa place. Le nom de sa ville était Pau; et le nom de sa femme Mehéthabeel, fille de Mathred, fille de Mézahab.	Genesis 36:39 And at the death of Baal-hanan, Hadar became king in his place; his chief town was named Pau, and his wife's name was Mehetabel; she was the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me-zahab.
Genèse 36:40 Voici les noms des chefs issus d`Ésaü, selon leurs tribus, selon leurs territoires, et d`après leurs noms: le chef Thimna, le chef Alva, le chef Jetheth,	Genesis 36:40 These are the names of the chiefs of Esau in the order of their families and their places: Timna, Alvah, Jetheth,
Genèse 36:41 le chef Oholibama, le chef Éla, le chef Pinon,	Genesis 36:41 Oholibamah, Elah, Pinon,
Genèse 36:42 le chef Kenaz, le chef Théman, le chef Mibtsar,	Genesis 36:42 Kenaz, Teman, Mibzar,
Genèse 36:43 le chef Magdiel, le chef Iram. Ce sont là les chefs d`Édom, selon leurs habitations dans le pays qu`ils possédaient. C`est là Ésaü, père d`Édom.	Genesis 36:43 Magdiel, Iram; these are the Edomite chiefs, in their places in their heritage; this is Esau, the father of the Edomites.
