Psaumes 44:1 Au chef des chantres. Des fils de Koré. Cantique. O Dieu! nous avons entendu de nos oreilles, Nos pères nous ont raconté Les oeuvres que tu as accomplies de leur temps, Aux jours d`autrefois.	Psalms 44:1 To the chief music-maker. Of the sons of Korah Maschil.It has come to our ears, O God, our fathers have given us the story, of the works which you did in their days, in the old times,
Psaumes 44:2 De ta main tu as chassé des nations pour les établir, Tu as frappé des peuples pour les étendre.	Psalms 44:2 Uprooting the nations with your hand, and planting our fathers in their place; cutting down the nations, but increasing the growth of your people.
Psaumes 44:3 Car ce n`est point par leur épée qu`ils se sont emparés du pays, Ce n`est point leur bras qui les a sauvés; Mais c`est ta droite, c`est ton bras, c`est la lumière de ta face, Parce que tu les aimais.	Psalms 44:3 For they did not make the land theirs by their swords, and it was not their arms which kept them safe; but your right hand, and your arm, and the light of your face, because you had pleasure in them.
Psaumes 44:4 O Dieu! tu es mon roi: Ordonne la délivrance de Jacob!	Psalms 44:4 You are my King and my God; ordering salvation for Jacob.
Psaumes 44:5 Avec toi nous renversons nos ennemis, Avec ton nom nous écrasons nos adversaires.	Psalms 44:5 Through you will we overcome our haters; by your name will they be crushed under our feet who are violent against us.
Psaumes 44:6 Car ce n`est pas en mon arc que je me confie, Ce n`est pas mon épée qui me sauvera;	Psalms 44:6 I will not put faith in my bow, my sword will not be my salvation.
Psaumes 44:7 Mais c`est toi qui nous délivres de nos ennemis, Et qui confonds ceux qui nous haïssent.	Psalms 44:7 But it is you who have been our saviour from those who were against us, and have put to shame those who had hate for us.
Psaumes 44:8 Nous nous glorifions en Dieu chaque jour, Et nous célébrerons à jamais ton nom. -Pause.	Psalms 44:8 Our pride is in God at all times, to his name we give praise for ever. (Selah.)
Psaumes 44:9 Cependant tu nous repousses, tu nous couvres de honte, Tu ne sors plus avec nos armées;	Psalms 44:9 But now you have sent us away from you, and put us to shame; you do not go out with our armies.
Psaumes 44:10 Tu nous fais reculer devant l`ennemi, Et ceux qui nous haïssent enlèvent nos dépouilles.	Psalms 44:10 Because of this we are turned back by the attacker: those who have hate for us take our goods for themselves.
Psaumes 44:11 Tu nous livres comme des brebis à dévorer, Tu nous disperses parmi les nations.	Psalms 44:11 You have made us like sheep which are taken for meat; we are put to flight among the nations.
Psaumes 44:12 Tu vends ton peuple pour rien, Tu ne l`estimes pas à une grande valeur.	Psalms 44:12 You let your people go for nothing; your wealth is not increased by their price.
Psaumes 44:13 Tu fais de nous un objet d`opprobre pour nos voisins, De moquerie et de risée pour ceux qui nous entourent;	Psalms 44:13 You have made us to be looked down on by our neighbours, we are laughed at and shamed by those who are round about us.
Psaumes 44:14 Tu fais de nous un objet de sarcasme parmi les nations, Et de hochements de tête parmi les peuples.	Psalms 44:14 Our name is a word of shame among the nations, a sign for the shaking of heads among the peoples.
Psaumes 44:15 Ma honte est toujours devant moi, Et la confusion couvre mon visage,	Psalms 44:15 My downfall is ever before me, and I am covered with the shame of my face;
Psaumes 44:16 A la voix de celui qui m`insulte et m`outrage, A la vue de l`ennemi et du vindicatif.	Psalms 44:16 Because of the voice of him who says sharp and bitter words; because of the hater and him who is the instrument of punishment.
Psaumes 44:17 Tout cela nous arrive, sans que nous t`ayons oublié, Sans que nous ayons violé ton alliance:	Psalms 44:17 All this has come on us, but still we have kept you in our memory; and we have not been false to your word.
Psaumes 44:18 Notre coeur ne s`est point détourné, Nos pas ne se sont point éloignés de ton sentier,	Psalms 44:18 Our hearts have not gone back, and our steps have not been turned out of your way;
Psaumes 44:19 Pour que tu nous écrases dans la demeure des chacals, Et que tu nous couvres de l`ombre de la mort.	Psalms 44:19 Though you have let us be crushed in the place of jackals, though we are covered with darkest shade.
Psaumes 44:20 Si nous avions oublié le nom de notre Dieu, Et étendu nos mains vers un dieu étranger,	Psalms 44:20 If the name of our God has gone out of our minds, or if our hands have been stretched out to a strange god,
Psaumes 44:21 Dieu ne le saurait-il pas, Lui qui connaît les secrets du coeur?	Psalms 44:21 Will not God make search for it? for he sees the secrets of the heart.
Psaumes 44:22 Mais c`est à cause de toi qu`on nous égorge tous les jours, Qu`on nous regarde comme des brebis destinées à la boucherie.	Psalms 44:22 Truly, because of you we are put to death every day; we are numbered like sheep for destruction.
Psaumes 44:23 Réveille-toi! Pourquoi dors-tu, Seigneur? Réveille-toi! ne nous repousse pas à jamais!	Psalms 44:23 Why are you sleeping, O Lord? awake! and come to our help, do not give us up for ever.
Psaumes 44:24 Pourquoi caches-tu ta face? Pourquoi oublies-tu notre misère et notre oppression?	Psalms 44:24 Why is your face covered, and why do you give no thought to our trouble and our cruel fate?
Psaumes 44:25 Car notre âme est abattue dans la poussière, Notre corps est attaché à la terre.	Psalms 44:25 For our souls are crushed down to the dust: our bodies are stretched out on the earth.
Psaumes 44:26 Lève-toi, pour nous secourir! Délivre-nous à cause de ta bonté!	Psalms 44:26 Up! and come to our help, and give us salvation because of your mercy.
