Psaumes 73	Psalms 73
Psaumes 73:1 Psaume d`Asaph. Oui, Dieu est bon pour Israël, Pour ceux qui ont le coeur pur.	Psalms 73:1 Truly, God is good to Israel, even to such as are clean in heart.
Psaumes 73:2 Toutefois, mon pied allait fléchir, Mes pas étaient sur le point de glisser;	Psalms 73:2 But as for me, my feet had almost gone from under me; I was near to slipping;
Psaumes 73:3 Car je portais envie aux insensés, En voyant le bonheur des méchants.	Psalms 73:3 Because of my envy of the men of pride, when I saw the well-being of the wrongdoers.
Psaumes 73:4 Rien ne les tourmente jusqu`à leur mort, Et leur corps est chargé d`embonpoint;	Psalms 73:4 For they have no pain; their bodies are fat and strong.
Psaumes 73:5 Ils n`ont aucune part aux souffrances humaines, Ils ne sont point frappés comme le reste des hommes.	Psalms 73:5 They are not in trouble as others are; they have no part in the unhappy fate of men.
Psaumes 73:6 Aussi l`orgueil leur sert de collier, La violence est le vêtement qui les enveloppe;	Psalms 73:6 For this reason pride is round them like a chain; they are clothed with violent behaviour as with a robe.
Psaumes 73:7 L`iniquité sort de leurs entrailles, Les pensées de leur coeur se font jour.	Psalms 73:7 Their eyes are bursting with fat; they have more than their heart's desire.
Psaumes 73:8 Ils raillent, et parlent méchamment d`opprimer; Ils profèrent des discours hautains,	Psalms 73:8 Their thoughts are deep with evil designs; their talk from their seats of power is of cruel acts.
Psaumes 73:9 Ils élèvent leur bouche jusqu`aux cieux, Et leur langue se promène sur la terre.	Psalms 73:9 Their mouth goes up to heaven; their tongues go walking through the earth.
Psaumes 73:10 Voilà pourquoi son peuple se tourne de leur côté, Il avale l`eau abondamment,	Psalms 73:10 For this reason they are full of bread; and water is ever flowing for them.
Psaumes 73:11 Et il dit: Comment Dieu saurait-il, Comment le Très haut connaîtrait-il?	Psalms 73:11 And they say, How will the Lord see this? is there knowledge in the Most High?
Psaumes 73:12 Ainsi sont les méchants: Toujours heureux, ils accroissent leurs richesses.	Psalms 73:12 Truly, such are the sinners; they do well at all times, and their wealth is increased.
Psaumes 73:13 C`est donc en vain que j`ai purifié mon coeur, Et que j`ai lavé mes mains dans l`innocence:	Psalms 73:13 As for me, I have made my heart clean to no purpose, washing my hands in righteousness;
Psaumes 73:14 Chaque jour je suis frappé, Tous les matins mon châtiment est là.	Psalms 73:14 For I have been troubled all the day; every morning have I undergone punishment.
Psaumes 73:15 Si je disais: Je veux parler comme eux, Voici, je trahirais la race de tes enfants.	Psalms 73:15 If I would make clear what it is like, I would say, You are false to the generation of your children.
Psaumes 73:16 Quand j`ai réfléchi là-dessus pour m`éclairer, La difficulté fut grande à mes yeux,	Psalms 73:16 When my thoughts were turned to see the reason of this, it was a weariness in my eyes;
Psaumes 73:17 Jusqu`à ce que j`eusse pénétré dans les sanctuaires de Dieu, Et que j`eusse pris garde au sort final des méchants.	Psalms 73:17 Till I went into God's holy place, and saw the end of the evil-doers.
Psaumes 73:18 Oui, tu les places sur des voies glissantes, Tu les fais tomber et les mets en ruines.	Psalms 73:18 You put their feet where there was danger of slipping, so that they go down into destruction.
Psaumes 73:19 Eh quoi! en un instant les voilà détruits! Ils sont enlevés, anéantis par une fin soudaine!	Psalms 73:19 How suddenly are they wasted! fears are the cause of their destruction.
Psaumes 73:20 Comme un songe au réveil, Seigneur, à ton réveil, tu repousses leur image.	Psalms 73:20 As a dream when one is awake, they are ended; they are like an image gone out of mind when sleep is over.
Psaumes 73:21 Lorsque mon coeur s`aigrissait, Et que je me sentais percé dans les entrailles,	Psalms 73:21 My heart was made bitter, and I was pained by the bite of grief:
Psaumes 73:22 J`étais stupide et sans intelligence, J`étais à ton égard comme les bêtes.	Psalms 73:22 As for me, I was foolish, and without knowledge; I was like a beast before you.
Psaumes 73:23 Cependant je suis toujours avec toi, Tu m`as saisi la main droite;	Psalms 73:23 But still I am ever with you; you have taken me by my right hand.
Psaumes 73:24 Tu me conduiras par ton conseil, Puis tu me recevras dans la gloire.	Psalms 73:24 Your wisdom will be my guide, and later you will put me in a place of honour.
Psaumes 73:25 Quel autre ai-je au ciel que toi! Et sur la terre je ne prends plaisir qu`en toi.	Psalms 73:25 Whom have I in heaven but you? and having you I have no desire for anything on earth.
Psaumes 73:26 Ma chair et mon coeur peuvent se consumer: Dieu sera toujours le rocher de mon coeur et mon partage.	Psalms 73:26 My flesh and my heart are wasting away: but God is the Rock of my heart and my eternal heritage.
Psaumes 73:27 Car voici, ceux qui s`éloignent de toi périssent; Tu anéantis tous ceux qui te sont infidèles.	Psalms 73:27 For those who are far away from you will come to destruction: you will put an end to all those who have not kept faith with you.
Psaumes 73:28 Pour moi, m`approcher de Dieu, c`est mon bien: Je place mon refuge dans le Seigneur, l`Éternel, Afin de raconter toutes tes oeuvres.	Psalms 73:28 But it is good for me to come near to God: I have put my faith in the Lord God, so that I may make clear all his works.
