Aggeo 1:1 Il secondo anno del re Dario, il sesto mese, il primo giorno del mese, la parola dell’Eterno fu rivolta, per mezzo del profeta Aggeo, a Zorobabele, figliuolo di Scealtiel, governatore di Giuda, e a Giosuè, figliuolo di Jehotsadak, sommo sacerdote, in questi termini:	Haggai 1:1 In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month, came the word of Jehovah by Haggai the prophet unto Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, saying,
Aggeo 1:2 "Così parla l’Eterno degli eserciti: Questo popolo dice: Il tempo non è giunto, il tempo in cui la casa dell’Eterno dev’essere riedificata".	Haggai 1:2 Thus speaketh Jehovah of hosts, saying, This people say, It is not the time [for us] to come, the time for Jehovah's house to be built.
Aggeo 1:3 Perciò la parola dell’Eterno fu rivolta loro per mezzo del profeta Aggeo, in questi termini:	Haggai 1:3 Then came the word of Jehovah by Haggai the prophet, saying,
Aggeo 1:4 "E’ egli il tempo per voi stessi d’abitare le vostre case ben rivestite di legno mentre questa casa giace in rovina?	Haggai 1:4 Is it a time for you yourselves to dwell in your ceiled houses, while this house lieth waste?
Aggeo 1:5 Or dunque così parla l’Eterno degli eserciti: Ponete ben mente alle vostre vie!	Haggai 1:5 Now therefore thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Consider your ways.
Aggeo 1:6 Voi avete seminato molto, e avete raccolto poco; voi mangiate, ma non fino ad esser sazi; bevete, ma non fino a soddisfare la sete; vi vestite, ma non v’è chi si riscaldi; chi guadagna un salario mette il suo salario in una borsa forata.	Haggai 1:6 Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages [to put it] into a bag with holes.
Aggeo 1:7 Così parla l’Eterno degli eserciti: Ponete ben mente alle vostre vie!	Haggai 1:7 Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Consider your ways.
Aggeo 1:8 Salite nella contrada montuosa, recate del legname, e costruite la casa; e io mi compiacerò d’essa, e sarò glorificato, dice l’Eterno.	Haggai 1:8 Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith Jehovah.
Aggeo 1:9 Voi v’aspettate molto, ed ecco v’è poco; e quando l’avete portato in casa, io ci ho soffiato sopra. Perché? dice l’Eterno degli eserciti. A motivo della mia casa che giace in rovina, mentre ognun di voi si dà premura per la propria casa.	Haggai 1:9 Ye looked for much, and, lo, it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith Jehovah of hosts. Because of my house that lieth waste, while ye run every man to his own house.
Aggeo 1:10 Perciò il cielo, sopra di voi, è rimasto chiuso, sì che non c’è stata rugiada, e la terra ha ritenuto il suo prodotto.	Haggai 1:10 Therefore for your sake the heavens withhold the dew, and the earth withholdeth its fruit.
Aggeo 1:11 Ed io ho chiamato la siccità sul paese, sui monti, sul grano, sul vino, sull’olio, su tutto ciò che il suolo produce, sugli uomini, sul bestiame, e su tutto il lavoro delle mani".	Haggai 1:11 And I called for a drought upon the land, and upon the mountains, and upon the grain, and upon the new wine, and upon the oil, and upon that which the ground bringeth forth, and upon men, and upon cattle, and upon all the labor of the hands.
Aggeo 1:12 E Zorobabele, figliuolo di Scealtiel, e Giosuè, figliuolo di Jehotsadak, il sommo sacerdote, e tutto il rimanente del popolo, diedero ascolto alla voce dell’Eterno, del loro Dio, e alle parole del profeta Aggeo, secondo il messaggio che l’Eterno, il loro Dio, gli aveva affidato; e il popolo temette l’Eterno.	Haggai 1:12 Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of Jehovah their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as Jehovah their God had sent him; and the people did fear before Jehovah.
Aggeo 1:13 E Aggeo, messaggero dell’Eterno, disse al popolo, in virtù della missione avuta dall’Eterno: "Io son con voi, dice l’Eterno".	Haggai 1:13 Then spake Haggai Jehovah's messenger in Jehovah's message unto the people, saying, I am with you, saith Jehovah.
Aggeo 1:14 E l’Eterno destò lo spirito di Zorobabele, figliuolo di Scealtiel, governatore di Giuda, e lo spirito di Giosuè, figliuolo di Jehotsadak, sommo sacerdote, e lo spirito di tutto il resto del popolo; ed essi vennero e misero mano all’opera nella casa dell’Eterno degli eserciti, il loro Dio,	Haggai 1:14 And Jehovah stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and did work on the house of Jehovah of hosts, their God,
Aggeo 1:15 il ventiquattresimo giorno del mese, il sesto mese, il secondo anno del re Dario.	Haggai 1:15 in the four and twentieth day of the month, in the sixth [month], in the second year of Darius the king.
