Salmi 81:1 Per il Capo de’ musici. Sulla Ghittea. Salmo di Asaf. Cantate con gioia a Dio nostra forza; mandate grida di allegrezza all’Iddio di Giacobbe!	Psalms 81:1 For the Chief Musician; set to the Gittith. [A Psalm] of Asaph. Sing aloud unto God our strength: Make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob.
Salmi 81:2 Intonate un salmo e fate risonare il cembalo, l’arpa deliziosa, col saltèro.	Psalms 81:2 Raise a song, and bring hither the timbrel, The pleasant harp with the psaltery.
Salmi 81:3 Sonate la tromba alla nuova luna, alla luna piena, al giorno della nostra festa.	Psalms 81:3 Blow the trumpet at the new moon, At the full moon, on our feast-day.
Salmi 81:4 Poiché questo è uno statuto per Israele, una legge dell’Iddio di Giacobbe.	Psalms 81:4 For it is a statute for Israel, An ordinance of the God of Jacob.

Salmi 81:6 O Israele, io sottrassi le tue spalle ai pesi, le tue mani han lasciato le corbe.	Psalms 81:6 I removed his shoulder from the burden: His hands were freed from the basket.
Salmi 81:7 Nella distretta gridasti a me ed io ti liberai; ti risposi nascosto in mezzo ai tuoni, ti provai alle acque di Meriba. Sela.	Psalms 81:7 Thou calledst in trouble, and I delivered thee; I answered thee in the secret place of thunder; I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. Selah
Salmi 81:8 Ascolta, o popolo mio, ed io ti darò degli ammonimenti; o Israele, volessi tu pure ascoltarmi!	Psalms 81:8 Hear, O my people, and I will testify unto thee: O Israel, if thou wouldest hearken unto me!
Salmi 81:9 Non vi sia nel mezzo di te alcun dio straniero, e non adorare alcun dio forestiero:	Psalms 81:9 There shall no strange god be in thee; Neither shalt thou worship any foreign god.
Salmi 81:10 Io sono l’Eterno, l’Iddio tuo, che ti fece risalire dal paese d’Egitto; allarga la tua bocca, ed io l’empirò.	Psalms 81:10 I am Jehovah thy God, Who brought thee up out of the land of Egypt: Open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.
Salmi 81:11 Ma il mio popolo non ha ascoltato la mia voce, e Israele non mi ha ubbidito.	Psalms 81:11 But my people hearkened not to my voice; And Israel would none of me.
Salmi 81:12 Ond’io li abbandonai alla durezza del cuor loro, perché camminassero secondo i loro consigli.	Psalms 81:12 So I let them go after the stubbornness of their heart, That they might walk in their own counsels.
Salmi 81:13 Oh se il mio popolo volesse ascoltarmi, se Israele volesse camminar nelle mie vie!	Psalms 81:13 Oh that my people would hearken unto me, That Israel would walk in my ways!
Salmi 81:14 Tosto farei piegare i loro nemici, e rivolgerei la mia mano contro i loro avversari.	Psalms 81:14 I would soon subdue their enemies, And turn my hand against their adversaries.
Salmi 81:15 Quelli che odiano l’Eterno dovrebbero sottomettersi a lui, ma la loro durata sarebbe in perpetuo.	Psalms 81:15 The haters of Jehovah should submit themselves unto him: But their time should endure for ever.
Salmi 81:16 Io li nutrirei del fior di frumento, e li sazierei di miele stillante dalla roccia.	Psalms 81:16 He would feed them also with the finest of the wheat; And with honey out of the rock would I satisfy thee.
