Salmi 91:1 Chi dimora nel ritiro dell’Altissimo alberga all’ombra dell’Onnipotente.	Psalms 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Salmi 91:2 Io dico all’Eterno: Tu sei il mio rifugio e la mia fortezza, il mio Dio, in cui confido!	Psalms 91:2 I will say of Jehovah, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in whom I trust.
Salmi 91:3 Certo egli ti libererà dal laccio dell’uccellatore e dalla peste mortifera.	Psalms 91:3 For he will deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, And from the deadly pestilence.
Salmi 91:4 Egli ti coprirà con le sue penne, e sotto le sue ali troverai rifugio. La sua fedeltà ti è scudo e targa.	Psalms 91:4 He will cover thee with his pinions, And under his wings shalt thou take refuge: His truth is a shield and a buckler.
Salmi 91:5 Tu non temerai lo spavento notturno, né la saetta che vola di giorno,	Psalms 91:5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night, Nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
Salmi 91:6 né la peste che va attorno nelle tenebre, né lo sterminio che infierisce in pien mezzodì.	Psalms 91:6 For the pestilence that walketh in darkness, Nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
Salmi 91:7 Mille te ne cadranno al fianco, e diecimila alla destra; ma tu non ne sarai colpito.	Psalms 91:7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, And ten thousand at thy right hand; [But] it shall not come nigh thee.
Salmi 91:8 Solo contemplerai coi tuoi occhi e vedrai la retribuzione degli empi.	Psalms 91:8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold, And see the reward of the wicked.
Salmi 91:9 Poiché tu hai detto: O Eterno, tu sei il mio rifugio; tu hai preso l’Altissimo per il tuo asilo,	Psalms 91:9 For thou, O Jehovah, art my refuge! Thou hast made the Most High thy habitation;
Salmi 91:10 male alcuno non ti coglierà, né piaga alcuna s’accosterà alla tua tenda.	Psalms 91:10 There shall no evil befall thee, Neither shall any plague come nigh thy tent.
Salmi 91:11 Poiché egli comanderà ai suoi angeli di guardarti in tutte le tue vie.	Psalms 91:11 For he will give his angels charge over thee, To keep thee in all thy ways.
Salmi 91:12 Essi ti porteranno in palma di mano, che talora il tuo piè non urti in alcuna pietra.	Psalms 91:12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, Lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Salmi 91:13 Tu camminerai sul leone e sull’aspide, calpesterai il leoncello e il serpente.	Psalms 91:13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: The young lion and the serpent shalt thou trample under foot.
Salmi 91:14 Poich’egli ha posta in me la sua affezione, io lo libererò; lo leverò in alto, perché conosce il mio nome.	Psalms 91:14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
Salmi 91:15 Egli m’invocherà, ed io gli risponderò; sarò con lui nella distretta; lo libererò, e lo glorificherò.	Psalms 91:15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble: I will deliver him, and honor him.
Salmi 91:16 Lo sazierò di lunga vita, e gli farò vedere la mia salvezza.	Psalms 91:16 With long life will I satisfy him, And show him my salvation. Psalm 92 A Psalm, a Song for the sabbath day.
