Aggeo 2:1 Il settimo mese, il ventunesimo giorno del mese, la parola dell’Eterno fu rivelata per mezzo del profeta Aggeo, in questi termini:	Haggai 2:1 In the seventh month, on the twenty-first day of the month, the word of the Lord came by Haggai the prophet, saying,
Aggeo 2:2 "Parla ora a Zorobabele, figliuolo di Scealtiel, governatore di Giuda, e a Giosuè, figliuolo di Jehotsadak, sommo sacerdote, e al resto del popolo, e dì loro:	Haggai 2:2 Say now to Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, ruler of Judah, and to Joshua, the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and to the rest of the people,
Aggeo 2:3 Chi è rimasto fra voi che abbia veduto questa casa nella sua prima gloria? E come la vedete adesso? Così com’è, non è essa come nulla agli occhi vostri?	Haggai 2:3 Who is there still among you who saw this house in its first glory? and how do you see it now? is it not in your eyes as nothing?
Aggeo 2:4 E ora, fortìficati, Zorobabele! dice l’Eterno; fortìficati, Giosuè, figliuolo di Jehotsadak, sommo sacerdote! fortìficati, o popolo tutto del paese! dice l’Eterno; e mettetevi all’opra! poiché io sono con voi, dice l’Eterno degli eserciti,	Haggai 2:4 But now be strong, O Zerubbabel, says the Lord; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest; and be strong, all you people of the land, says the Lord, and get to work: for I am with you, says the Lord of armies:
Aggeo 2:5 secondo il patto che feci con voi quando usciste dall’Egitto, e il mio spirito dimora tra voi, non temete!	Haggai 2:5 The agreement which I made with you when you came out of Egypt, and my spirit, are with you still; have no fear.
Aggeo 2:6 Poiché così parla l’Eterno degli eserciti: Ancora una volta, fra poco, io farò tremare i cieli, la terra, il mare, e l’asciutto;	Haggai 2:6 For this is what the Lord of armies has said: In a short time I will make a shaking of the heavens and the earth and the sea and the dry land;
Aggeo 2:7 farò tremare tutte le nazioni, le cose più preziose di tutte le nazioni affluiranno, ed io empirò di gloria questa casa, dice l’Eterno degli eserciti.	Haggai 2:7 And I will make a shaking of all the nations, and the desired things of all nations will come: and I will make this house full of my glory, says the Lord of armies.
Aggeo 2:8 Mio è l’argento e mio è l’oro, dice l’Eterno degli eserciti.	Haggai 2:8 The silver is mine and the gold is mine, says the Lord of armies.
Aggeo 2:9 La gloria di quest’ultima casa sarà più grande di quella della prima, dice l’Eterno degli eserciti; e in questo luogo io darò la pace, dice l’Eterno degli eserciti".	Haggai 2:9 The second glory of this house will be greater than the first, says the Lord of armies: and in this place I will give peace, says the Lord of armies.
Aggeo 2:10 Il ventiquattresimo giorno del nono mese, il secondo anno di Dario, la parola dell’Eterno fu rivelata per mezzo del profeta Aggeo, in questi termini:	Haggai 2:10 On the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, the word of the Lord came by Haggai the prophet, saying,
Aggeo 2:11 "Così parla l’Eterno degli eserciti: Interroga i sacerdoti sulla legge intorno a questo punto:	Haggai 2:11 These are the words of the Lord of armies: Put now a point of law to the priests, saying,
Aggeo 2:12 Se uno porta nel lembo della sua veste della carne consacrata, e con quel suo lembo tocca del pane, o una vivanda cotta, o del vino, o dell’olio, o qualsivoglia altro cibo, quelle cose diventeranno esse consacrate? I sacerdoti riposero e dissero: No.	Haggai 2:12 If anyone has some holy flesh folded in the skirt of his robe, will bread or soup or wine or oil or any other food be made holy if touched by his skirt? And the priests answering said, No.
Aggeo 2:13 E Aggeo disse: Se uno, essendo impuro a motivo d’un morto, tocca qualcuna di quelle cose, diventerà essa impura? I sacerdoti risposero e dissero: Sì, diventerà impura.	Haggai 2:13 Then Haggai said, Will any of these be made unclean by the touch of one who is unclean through touching a dead body? And the priests answering said, It will be made unclean.
Aggeo 2:14 Allora Aggeo replicò e disse: Così è questo popolo, così è questa nazione nel mio cospetto, dice l’Eterno; e così è tutta l’opera delle loro mani; e tutto quello che m’offrono là è impuro.	Haggai 2:14 Then Haggai said, So is this people and so is this nation before me, says the Lord; and so is every work of their hands; and the offering they give there is unclean.
Aggeo 2:15 Ed ora, ponete ben mente a ciò ch’è avvenuto fino a questo giorno, prima che fosse messa pietra su pietra nel tempio dell’Eterno!	Haggai 2:15 And now, give thought, looking back from this day to the time before one stone was put on another in the Temple of the Lord:
Aggeo 2:16 Durante tutto quel tempo, quand’uno veniva a un mucchio di venti misure, non ve n’eran che dieci; quand’uno veniva al tino per cavarne cinquanta misure, non ve n’eran che venti.	Haggai 2:16 How, when anyone came to a store of twenty measures, there were only ten: when anyone went to the wine-store to get fifty vessels full, there were only twenty.
Aggeo 2:17 Io vi colpii col carbonchio, colla ruggine, con la grandine, in tutta l’opera delle vostre mani; ma voi non tornaste a me, dice l’Eterno.	Haggai 2:17 And I sent burning and wasting and a rain of ice-drops on all the works of your hands; but still you were not turned to me, says the Lord.
Aggeo 2:18 Ponete ben mente a ciò ch’è avvenuto fino a questo giorno, fino al ventiquattresimo giorno del nono mese, dal giorno che il tempio dell’Eterno fu fondato; ponetevi ben mente!	Haggai 2:18 And now, give thought; looking on from this day, from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, from the time when the base of the Lord's house was put in its place, give thought to it.
Aggeo 2:19 V’è egli ancora del grano nel granaio? La stessa vigna, il fico, il melagrano, l’ulivo, nulla producono! Da questo giorno, io vi benedirò".	Haggai 2:19 Is the seed still in the store-house? have the vine and the fig-tree, the pomegranate and the olive-tree, still not given their fruit? from this day I will send my blessing on you.
Aggeo 2:20 E la parola dell’Eterno fu indirizzata per la seconda volta ad Aggeo, il ventiquattresimo giorno del mese, in questi termini:	Haggai 2:20 And the word of the Lord came a second time to Haggai, on the twenty-fourth day of the month, saying,
Aggeo 2:21 "Parla a Zorobabele, governatore di Giuda, e digli: Io farò tremare i cieli e la terra,	Haggai 2:21 Say to Zerubbabel, ruler of Judah, I will make a shaking of the heavens and the earth,
Aggeo 2:22 rovescerò il trono dei regni e distruggerò la forza dei regni delle nazioni; rovescerò i carri e quelli che vi montano; i cavalli e i loro cavalieri cadranno, l’uno per la spada dell’altro.	Haggai 2:22 Overturning the power of kingdoms; and I will send destruction on the strength of the kingdoms of the nations; by me war-carriages will be overturned with those who are in them; and the horses and the horsemen will come down, everyone by the sword of his brother.
Aggeo 2:23 In quel giorno, dice l’Eterno degli eserciti, io ti prenderò, o Zorobabele, figliuolo di Scealtiel, mio servo, dice l’Eterno, e ti terrò come un sigillo, perché io t’ho scelto, dice l’Eterno degli eserciti".	Haggai 2:23 In that day, says the Lord of armies, I will take you, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, says the Lord, and will make you as a jewelled ring: for I have taken you to be mine, says the Lord of armies.
