Geremia 43:1 Or quando Geremia ebbe finito di dire al popolo tutte le parole dell’Eterno, del loro Dio tutte le parole che l’Eterno, il loro Dio, l’aveva incaricato di dir loro,	Jeremiah 43:1 And it came about that when Jeremiah had come to the end of giving all the people the words of the Lord their God, which the Lord their God had sent him to say to them, even all these words,
Geremia 43:2 Azaria, figliuolo di Hosaia, e Johanan, figliuolo di Kareah, e tutti gli uomini superbi dissero a Geremia: "Tu dici il falso; l’Eterno, il nostro Dio, non t’ha mandato a dire: Non entrate in Egitto per dimorarvi,	Jeremiah 43:2 Then Azariah, the son of Hoshaiah, and Johanan, the son of Kareah, and all the men of pride, said to Jeremiah, You have said what is false: the Lord our God has not sent you to say, You are not to go into the land of Egypt and make your living-place there:
Geremia 43:3 ma Baruc, figliuolo di Neria, t’incita contro di noi per darci in man de’ Caldei, per farci morire o per farci menare in cattività a Babilonia".	Jeremiah 43:3 But Baruch, the son of Neriah, is moving you against us, to give us up into the hands of the Chaldaeans so that they may put us to death, and take us away prisoners into Babylon.
Geremia 43:4 Così Johanan, figliuolo di Kareah, tutti i capi delle forze e tutto il popolo non ubbidirono alla voce dell’Eterno, che ordinava loro di dimorare nel paese di Giuda.	Jeremiah 43:4 So Johanan, the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, and all the people, did not give ear to the order of the Lord that they were to go on living in the land of Judah.
Geremia 43:5 E Johanan, figliuolo di Kareah, e tutti i capi delle forze presero tutti i superstiti di Giuda i quali di fra tutte le nazioni dov’erano stati dispersi, erano ritornati per dimorare nel paese di Giuda:	Jeremiah 43:5 But Johanan, the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces took all the rest of Judah who had come back into the land of Judah from all the nations where they had been forced to go;
Geremia 43:6 gli uomini, le donne, i fanciulli, le figliuole del re e tutte le persone che Nebuzaradan, capo delle guardie, aveva lasciate con Ghedalia, figliuolo di Ahikam, figliuolo di Shafan, come pure il profeta Geremia, e Baruc, figliuolo di Neria,	Jeremiah 43:6 The men and the women and the children and the king's daughters, and every person whom Nebuzaradan, the captain of the armed men, had put under the care of Gedaliah, the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, and Jeremiah the prophet and Baruch, the son of Neriah;
Geremia 43:7 ed entrarono nel paese d’Egitto, perché non ubbidirono alla voce dell’Eterno; e giunsero a Tahpanes.	Jeremiah 43:7 And they came into the land of Egypt; for they did not give ear to the voice of the Lord: and they came to Tahpanhes.
Geremia 43:8 E la parola dell’Eterno fu rivolta a Geremia a Tahpanes in questi termini:	Jeremiah 43:8 Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah in Tahpanhes, saying,
Geremia 43:9 "Prendi nelle tue mani delle grosse pietre, e nascondile nell’argilla della fornace da mattoni ch’è all’ingresso della casa di Faraone a Tahpanes, in presenza degli uomini di Giuda.	Jeremiah 43:9 Take in your hand some great stones, and put them in a safe place in the paste in the brickwork which is at the way into Pharaoh's house in Tahpanhes, before the eyes of the men of Judah;
Geremia 43:10 E di’ loro: Così parla l’Eterno degli eserciti, l’Iddio d’Israele: Ecco, io manderò a prendere Nebucadnetsar, re di Babilonia, mio servitore, e porrò il suo trono su queste pietre che io ho nascoste, ed egli stenderà su d’esse il suo padiglione reale,	Jeremiah 43:10 And say to them, This is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel, has said: See, I will send and take Nebuchadrezzar, the king of Babylon, my servant, and he will put the seat of his kingdom on these stones which have been put in a safe place here by you; and his tent will be stretched over them.
Geremia 43:11 e verrà e colpirà il paese d’Egitto: chi deve andare alla morte, andrà alla morte; chi in cattività, andrà in cattività; chi deve cader di spada, cadrà per la spada.	Jeremiah 43:11 And he will come and overcome the land of Egypt; those who are for death will be put to death, those who are to be prisoners will be made prisoners, and those who are for the sword will be given to the sword.
Geremia 43:12 Ed io appiccherò il fuoco alle case degli dèi d’Egitto. Nebucadnetsar brucerà le case e menerà in cattività gl’idoli, e s’avvolgerà del paese d’Egitto come il pastore s’avvolge nella sua veste; e ne uscirà in pace.	Jeremiah 43:12 And he will put a fire in the houses of the gods of Egypt; and they will be burned by him: and he will make Egypt clean as a keeper of sheep makes clean his clothing; and he will go out from there in peace.
Geremia 43:13 Frantumerà pure le statue del tempio del sole, che è nel paese d’Egitto, e darà alle fiamme le case degli dèi d’Egitto".	Jeremiah 43:13 And the stone pillars of Beth-shemesh in the land of Egypt will be broken by him, and the houses of the gods of Egypt burned with fire.
