Geremia 46:1 Parola dell’Eterno che fu rivolta a Geremia riguardo alle nazioni.	Jeremiah 46:1 The word of the Lord which came to Jeremiah the prophet about the nations.
Geremia 46:2 Riguardo all’Egitto. Circa l’esercito di Faraone Neco, re d’Egitto, che era presso al fiume Eufrate a Carkemish, e che Nebucadnetsar, re di Babilonia, sconfisse il quarto anno di Joiakim, figliuolo di Giosia, re di Giuda.	Jeremiah 46:2 Of Egypt: about the army of Pharaoh-neco, king of Egypt, which was by the river Euphrates in Carchemish, which Nebuchadrezzar, king of Babylon, overcame in the fourth year of Jehoiakim, the son of Josiah, king of Judah.

Geremia 46:4 Attaccate i cavalli, e voi, cavalieri, montate, e presentatevi con gli elmi in capo; forbite le lance, indossate le corazze!	Jeremiah 46:4 Make the horses ready, and get up, you horsemen, and take your places with your head-dresses; make the spears sharp and put on the breastplates.
Geremia 46:5 Perché li veggo io sbigottiti, vòlti in rotta? I loro prodi sono sconfitti, si dànno alla fuga senza volgersi indietro; d’ogn’intorno è terrore, dice l’Eterno.	Jeremiah 46:5 What have I seen? they are overcome with fear and turned back; their men of war are broken and have gone in flight, not looking back: fear is on every side, says the Lord.
Geremia 46:6 Il veloce non fugga, il prode non scampi! Al settentrione, presso il fiume Eufrate vacillano e cadono.	Jeremiah 46:6 Let not the quick-footed go in flight, or the man of war get away; on the north, by the river Euphrates, they are slipping and falling.
Geremia 46:7 Chi è colui che sale come il Nilo, e le cui acque s’agitano come quelle de’ fiumi?	Jeremiah 46:7 Who is this coming up like the Nile, whose waters are lifting their heads like the rivers?
Geremia 46:8 E’ l’Egitto, che sale come il Nilo, e le cui acque s’agitano come quelle de’ fiumi. Egli dice: "Io salirò, ricoprirò la terra, distruggerò le città e i loro abitanti". Geremia 46:10 Questo giorno, per il Signore, per l’Eterno degli eserciti, è giorno di vendetta, in cui si vendica de’ suoi nemici. La spada divorerà, si sazierà, s’inebrierà del loro sangue; poiché il Signore, l’Eterno degli eserciti, immola le vittime nel paese del settentrione, presso il fiume Eufrate.	Jeremiah 46:10 But that day is the day of the Lord, the Lord of armies, a day of punishment when he will take payment from his haters: and the sword will have all its desire, drinking their blood in full measure: for there is an offering to the Lord, the Lord of armies, in the north country by the river Euphrates.
Geremia 46:11 Sali a Galaad, prendi del balsamo, o vergine, figliuola d’Egitto! Invano moltiplichi i rimedi; non v’è medicatura che valga per te.	Jeremiah 46:11 Go up to Gilead and take sweet oil, O virgin daughter of Egypt: there is no help in all your medical arts; nothing will make you well.
Geremia 46:12 Le nazioni odono la tua ignominia, e la terra è piena del tuo grido; poiché il prode vacilla appoggiandosi al prode, ambedue cadono assieme.	Jeremiah 46:12 Your shame has come to the ears of the nations, and the earth is full of your cry: for the strong man is falling against the strong, they have come down together.

Geremia 46:19 O figliuola che abiti l’Egitto, fa’ il tuo bagaglio per la cattività! poiché Nof diventerà una desolazione sarà devastata, nessuno v’abiterà più. Geremia 46:20 L’Egitto è una giovenca bellissima, ma viene un tafano, viene dal settentrione.	Jeremiah 46:20 Egypt is a fair young cow; but a biting insect has come on her out of the north.
Geremia 46:21 Anche i mercenari che sono in mezzo all’Egitto son come vitelli da ingrasso; anch’essi volgono il dorso, fuggon tutti assieme, non resistono; poiché piomba su loro il giorno della loro calamità, il tempo della loro visitazione.	Jeremiah 46:21 And those who were her fighters for payment are like fat oxen; for they are turned back, they have gone in flight together, they do not keep their place: for the day of their fate has come on them, the time of their punishment.

Geremia 46:25 L’Eterno degli eserciti, l’Iddio d’Israele, dice: Ecco, io punirò Amon di No, Faraone, l’Egitto, i suoi dèi, i suoi re, Faraone e quelli che confidano in lui;	Jeremiah 46:25 The Lord of armies, the God of Israel, has said: See, I will send punishment on Amon of No and on Pharaoh and on those who put their faith in him;
Geremia 46:26 li darò in mano di quei che cercano la loro vita, in mano di Nebucadnetsar, re di Babilonia, e in mano de’ suoi servitori; ma, dopo questo, l’Egitto sarà abitato come ai giorni di prima, dice l’Eterno.	Jeremiah 46:26 And I will give them up into the hands of those who will take their lives, and into the hands of Nebuchadrezzar, king of Babylon, and into the hands of his servants: and later, it will be peopled as in the past, says the Lord.
Geremia 46:27 Tu dunque non temere, o Giacobbe mio servitore, non ti sgomentare, o Israele! poiché, ecco, io ti salverò dal lontano paese, salverò la tua progenie dalla terra della sua cattività; Giacobbe ritornerà, sarà in riposo, sarà tranquillo, e nessuno più lo spaventerà.	Jeremiah 46:27 But have no fear, O Jacob, my servant, and do not be troubled, O Israel: for see, I will make you come back from far away, and your seed from the land where they are prisoners; and Jacob will come back, and will be quiet and in peace, and no one will give him cause for fear.
Geremia 46:28 Tu non temere, o Giacobbe, mio servitore, dice l’Eterno; poiché io son teco, io annienterò tutte le nazioni fra le quali t’ho disperso, ma non annienterò te; però ti castigherò con giusta misura, e non ti lascerò del tutto impunito.	Jeremiah 46:28 Have no fear, O Jacob, my servant, says the Lord; for I am with you: for I will put an end to all the nations where I have sent you, but I will not put an end to you completely: though with wise purpose I will put right your errors, and will not let you go quite without punishment.
