Geremia 52:1 Sedekia avea ventun anni quando cominciò a regnare, e regnò a Gerusalemme undici anni. Sua madre si chiamava Hamutal, figliuola di Geremia da Libna.	Jeremiah 52:1 Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he became king; he was king for eleven years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Hamutal, the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.
Geremia 52:2 Egli fece ciò ch’è male agli occhi dell’Eterno, in tutto e per tutto come avea fatto Joiakim.	Jeremiah 52:2 And he did evil in the eyes of the Lord, as Jehoiakim had done.
Geremia 52:3 E a causa dell’ira dell’Eterno contro Gerusalemme e Giuda, le cose arrivarono al punto che l’Eterno li cacciò dalla sua presenza. E Sedekia si ribellò al re di Babilonia.	Jeremiah 52:3 And because of the wrath of the Lord this came about in Jerusalem and Judah, till he had sent them away from before him: and Zedekiah took up arms against the king of Babylon.
Geremia 52:4 L’anno nono del regno di Sedekia, il decimo giorno del decimo mese, Nebucadnetsar, re di Babilonia, venne con tutto il suo esercito contro Gerusalemme; s’accampò contro di lei, e la circondò di posti fortificati.	Jeremiah 52:4 And in the ninth year of his rule, on the tenth day of the tenth month, Nebuchadrezzar, king of Babylon, came against Jerusalem with all his army and took up his position before it, building earthworks all round it.
Geremia 52:5 E la città fu assediata fino all’undecimo anno del re Sedekia.	Jeremiah 52:5 So the town was shut in by their forces till the eleventh year of King Zedekiah.
Geremia 52:6 Il nono giorno del quarto mese, la carestia era grave nella città; e non c’era più pane per il popolo del paese.	Jeremiah 52:6 In the fourth month, on the ninth day of the month, the store of food in the town was almost gone, so that there was no food for the people of the land.
Geremia 52:7 Allora fu fatta una breccia alla città, e tutta la gente di guerra fuggì uscendo di notte dalla città, per la via della porta fra le due mura, in prossimità del giardino del re, mentre i Caldei stringevano la città da ogni parte; e i fuggiaschi presero la via della pianura;	Jeremiah 52:7 Then an opening was made in the wall of the town, and all the men of war went in flight out of the town by night through the doorway between the two walls which was by the king's garden; (now the Chaldaeans were stationed round the town:) and they went by the way of the Arabah.
Geremia 52:8 ma l’esercito dei Caldei inseguì il re, raggiunse Sedekia nelle pianure di Gerico, e tutto l’esercito di lui si disperse e l’abbandonò.	Jeremiah 52:8 And the Chaldaean army went after King Zedekiah and overtook him on the other side of Jericho, and all his army went in flight from him in every direction.
Geremia 52:9 Allora i Caldei presero il re, e lo condussero al re di Babilonia a Ribla nel paese di Hamath; ed egli pronunziò la sua sentenza contro di lui.	Jeremiah 52:9 Then they made the king a prisoner and took him up to the king of Babylon to Riblah in the land of Hamath to be judged.
Geremia 52:10 Il re di Babilonia fece scannare i figliuoli di Sedekia in presenza di lui; fece pure scannare tutti i capi di Giuda a Ribla.	Jeremiah 52:10 And the king of Babylon put the sons of Zedekiah to death before his eyes: and he put to death all the rulers of Judah in Riblah.
Geremia 52:11 Poi fece cavar gli occhi a Sedekia; e il re di Babilonia lo fece incatenare con una doppia catena di rame e lo menò a Babilonia, e lo mise in prigione, dove rimase fino al giorno della sua morte.	Jeremiah 52:11 And he put out Zedekiah's eyes; and the king of Babylon, chaining him in iron bands, took him to Babylon, and put him in prison till the day of his death.
Geremia 52:12 Or il decimo giorno del quinto mese era il diciannovesimo anno di Nebucadnetsar, re di Babilonia Nebuzaradan, capitano della guardia del corpo, al servizio del re di Babilonia, giunse a Gerusalemme,	Jeremiah 52:12 Now in the fifth month, on the tenth day of the month, in the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadrezzar, king of Babylon, Nebuzaradan, the captain of the armed men, a servant of the king of Babylon, came into Jerusalem.
Geremia 52:13 e arse la casa dell’Eterno e la casa del re, diede alle fiamme tutte le case di Gerusalemme, e arse tutte le case ragguardevoli.	Jeremiah 52:13 And he had the house of the Lord and the king's house and all the houses of Jerusalem, even every great house, burned with fire:
Geremia 52:14 E tutto l’esercito dei Caldei ch’era col capitano della guardia atterrò da tutte le parti le mura di Gerusalemme.	Jeremiah 52:14 And the walls round Jerusalem were broken down by the Chaldaean army which was with the captain.
Geremia 52:15 Nebuzaradan, capitano della guardia, menò in cattività una parte de’ più poveri del popolo, i superstiti ch’erano rimasti nella città, i fuggiaschi che s’erano arresi al re di Babilonia, e il resto della popolazione.	Jeremiah 52:15 Then Nebuzaradan, the captain of the armed men, took away as prisoners the rest of the people who were still in the town, and those who had given themselves up to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the workmen.
Geremia 52:16 Ma Nebuzaradan, capitano della guardia, lasciò alcuni dei più poveri del paese a coltivar le vigne ed i campi.	Jeremiah 52:16 But Nebuzaradan, the captain of the armed men, let the poorest of the land go on living there, to take care of the vines and the fields.
Geremia 52:17 I Caldei spezzarono le colonne di rame ch’erano nella casa dell’Eterno, le basi, il mar di rame ch’era nella casa dell’Eterno, e ne portaron via il rame a Babilonia.	Jeremiah 52:17 And the brass pillars which were in the house of the Lord, and the wheeled bases and the great brass water-vessel in the house of the Lord, were broken up by the Chaldaeans, who took all the brass away to Babylon.
Geremia 52:18 Presero le pignatte, le palette, i coltelli, i bacini, le coppe, e tutti gli utensili di rame coi quali si faceva il servizio.	Jeremiah 52:18 And the pots and the spades and the scissors for the lights and the spoons, and all the brass vessels used in the Lord's house, they took away.
Geremia 52:19 Il capo della guardia prese pure le coppe, i bracieri, i bacini, le pignatte, i candelabri, le tazze e i calici, l’oro di ciò ch’era d’oro e l’argento di ciò ch’era d’argento.	Jeremiah 52:19 And the cups and the fire-trays and the basins and the pots and the supports for the lights and the spoons and the wide basins; the gold of the gold vessels, and the silver of the silver vessels, the captain of the armed men took away.
Geremia 52:20 Quanto alle due colonne, al mare e ai dodici buoi di rame che servivano di base e che Salomone avea fatti per la casa dell’Eterno, il rame di tutti questi oggetti aveva un peso incalcolabile.	Jeremiah 52:20 The two pillars, the great water-vessel, and the twelve brass oxen which were under it, and the ten wheeled bases, which King Solomon had made for the house of the Lord: the brass of all these vessels was without weight.
Geremia 52:21 L’altezza di una di queste colonne era di diciotto cubiti, e a misurarla in giro ci voleva un filo di dodici cubiti; aveva uno spessore di quattro dita, ed era vuota;	Jeremiah 52:21 And as for the pillars, one pillar was eighteen cubits high, and twelve cubits measured all round, and it was as thick as a man's hand: it was hollow.
Geremia 52:22 e v’era su un capitello di rame; e l’altezza d’ogni capitello era di cinque cubiti; attorno al capitello v’erano un reticolato e delle melagrane, ogni cosa di rame; lo stesso era della seconda colonna, adorna pure di melagrane.	Jeremiah 52:22 And there was a crown of brass on it: the crown was five cubits high, circled with a network and apples all of brass; and the second pillar had the same.
Geremia 52:23 V’erano novantasei melagrane da ogni lato, e tutte le melagrane attorno al reticolato ammontavano a cento.	Jeremiah 52:23 There were ninety-six apples on the outside; the number of apples all round the network was a hundred.
Geremia 52:24 Il capitano della guardia prese Seraia, il sommo sacerdote, Sofonia, il secondo sacerdote, e i tre custodi della soglia,	Jeremiah 52:24 And the captain of the armed men took Seraiah, the chief priest, and Zephaniah, the second priest, and the three door-keepers;
Geremia 52:25 e prese nella città un eunuco che comandava la gente di guerra, sette uomini di fra i consiglieri intimi del re che furon trovati nella città, il segretario del capo dell’esercito che arruolava il popolo del paese, e sessanta privati che furono anch’essi trovati nella città.	Jeremiah 52:25 And from the town he took the unsexed servant who was over the men of war, and seven of the king's near friends who were in the town, and the scribe of the captain of the army, who was responsible for getting the people of the land together in military order, and sixty men of the people of the land who were in the town.
Geremia 52:26 Nebuzaradan, capitano della guardia, li prese e li condusse al re di Babilonia a Ribla,	Jeremiah 52:26 These Nebuzaradan, the captain of the armed men, took with him to the king of Babylon at Riblah.
Geremia 52:27 e il re di Babilonia li fece colpire e mettere a morte a Ribla, nel paese di Hamath.	Jeremiah 52:27 And the king of Babylon put them to death at Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah was taken prisoner away from his land.
Geremia 52:28 Così Giuda fu menato in cattività lungi dal suo paese. Questo è il popolo che Nebucadnetsar menò in cattività: il settimo anno, tremila ventitre Giudei;	Jeremiah 52:28 These are the people whom Nebuchadrezzar took away prisoner: in the seventh year, three thousand and twenty-three Jews:

Geremia 52:30 il ventitreesimo anno di Nebucadnetsar, Nebuzaradan, capitano della guardia, menò in cattività settecento quarantacinque Giudei: in tutto, quattromila seicento persone.	Jeremiah 52:30 In the twenty-third year of Nebuchadrezzar, Nebuzaradan, the captain of the armed men, took away as prisoners seven hundred and forty-five of the Jews: all the persons were four thousand and six hundred.
Geremia 52:31 Il trentasettesimo anno della cattività di Joiakin, re di Giuda, il venticinquesimo giorno del dodicesimo mese, Evil-Merodac, re di Babilonia, l’anno stesso che cominciò a regnare, fece grazia a Joiakin, re di Giuda, e lo trasse di prigione;	Jeremiah 52:31 And in the thirty-seventh year after Jehoiachin, king of Judah, had been taken prisoner, in the twelfth month, on the twenty-fifth day of the month, Evil-merodach, king of Babylon, in the first year after he became king, took Jehoiachin, king of Judah, out of prison.
Geremia 52:32 gli parlò benignamente, e mise il trono d’esso più in alto di quello degli altri re ch’eran con lui a Babilonia.	Jeremiah 52:32 And he said kind words to him and put his seat higher than the seats of the other kings who were with him in Babylon.
Geremia 52:33 Gli fece mutare i suoi vestiti di prigione; e Joiakin mangiò sempre a tavola con lui per tutto il tempo ch’ei visse.	Jeremiah 52:33 And his prison clothing was changed, and he was a guest at the king's table every day for the rest of his life.
Geremia 52:34 E quanto al suo mantenimento, durante tutto il tempo che visse, esso gli fu dato del continuo da parte del re di Babilonia, giorno per giorno, fino al giorno della sua morte.	Jeremiah 52:34 And for his food, the king gave him a regular amount every day till the day of his death, for the rest of his life.
