Giacomo 5:1 A voi ora, o ricchi; piangete e urlate per le calamità che stanno per venirvi addosso!	James 5:1 Come now, you men of wealth, give yourselves to weeping and crying because of the bitter troubles which are coming to you.
Giacomo 5:2 Le vostre ricchezze sono marcite, e le vostre vesti son rose dalle tignuole.	James 5:2 Your wealth is unclean and insects have made holes in your clothing.
Giacomo 5:3 Il vostro oro e il vostro argento sono arrugginiti, e la loro ruggine sarà una testimonianza contro a voi, e divorerà le vostre carni a guisa di fuoco. Avete accumulato tesori negli ultimi giorni.	James 5:3 Your gold and your silver are wasted and their waste will be a witness against you, burning into your flesh. You have put by your store in the last days.
Giacomo 5:4 Ecco, il salario dei lavoratori che han mietuto i vostri campi, e del quale li avete frodati, grida; e le grida di quelli che han mietuto sono giunte alle orecchie del Signor degli eserciti.	James 5:4 See, the money which you falsely kept back from the workers cutting the grass in your field, is crying out against you; and the cries of those who took in your grain have come to the ears of the Lord of armies.
Giacomo 5:5 Voi siete vissuti sulla terra nelle delizie e vi siete dati ai piaceri; avete pasciuto i vostri cuori in giorno di strage.	James 5:5 You have been living delicately on earth and have taken your pleasure; you have made your hearts fat for a day of destruction.
Giacomo 5:6 Avete condannato, avete ucciso il giusto; egli non vi resiste.	James 5:6 You have given your decision against the upright man and have put him to death. He puts up no fight against you.
Giacomo 5:7 Siate dunque pazienti, fratelli, fino alla venuta del Signore. Ecco, l’agricoltore aspetta il prezioso frutto della terra pazientando, finché esso abbia ricevuto la pioggia della prima e dell’ultima stagione.	James 5:7 Go on waiting calmly, my brothers, till the coming of the Lord, like the farmer waiting for the good fruit of the earth till the early and late rains have come.
Giacomo 5:8 Siate anche voi pazienti; rinfrancate i vostri cuori, perché la venuta del Signore è vicina.	James 5:8 Be as calm in your waiting; let your hearts be strong: because the coming of the Lord is near.
Giacomo 5:9 Fratelli, non mormorate gli uni contro gli altri, onde non siate giudicati; ecco il Giudice è alla porta.	James 5:9 Say no hard things against one another, brothers, so that you will not be judged; see, the judge is waiting at the doors.
Giacomo 5:10 Prendete, fratelli, per esempio di sofferenza e di pazienza i profeti che han parlato nel nome del Signore.	James 5:10 Take as an example of pain nobly undergone and of strength in trouble, the prophets who gave to men the words of the Lord.
Giacomo 5:11 Ecco, noi chiamiamo beati quelli che hanno sofferto con costanza. Avete udito parlare della costanza di Giobbe, e avete veduto la fine riserbatagli dal Signore, perché il Signore è pieno di compassione e misericordioso.	James 5:11 We say that those men who have gone through pain are happy: you have the story of Job and the troubles through which he went and have seen that the Lord was full of pity and mercy in the end.
Giacomo 5:12 Ma, innanzi tutto, fratelli miei, non giurate né per il cielo, né per la terra, né con altro giuramento; ma sia il vostro sì, sì, e il vostro no, no, affinché non cadiate sotto giudicio.	James 5:12 But most of all, my brothers, do not take oaths, not by the heaven, or by the earth, or by any other thing: but let your Yes be Yes, and your No be No: so that you may not be judged.
Giacomo 5:13 C’è fra voi qualcuno che soffre? Preghi. C’è qualcuno d’animo lieto? Salmeggi.	James 5:13 Is anyone among you in trouble? let him say prayers. Is anyone glad? let him make a song of praise.
Giacomo 5:14 C’è qualcuno fra voi infermo? Chiami gli anziani della chiesa, e preghino essi su lui, ungendolo d’olio nel nome del Signore;	James 5:14 Is anyone among you ill? let him send for the rulers of the church; and let them say prayers over him, putting oil on him in the name of the Lord.
Giacomo 5:15 e la preghiera della fede salverà il malato, e il Signore lo ristabilirà; e s’egli ha commesso dei peccati, gli saranno rimessi.	James 5:15 And by the prayer of faith the man who is ill will be made well, and he will be lifted up by the Lord, and for any sin which he has done he will have forgiveness.
Giacomo 5:16 Confessate dunque i falli gli uni agli altri, e pregate gli uni per gli altri onde siate guariti; molto può la supplicazione del giusto, fatta con efficacia.	James 5:16 So then, make a statement of your sins to one another, and say prayers for one another so that you may be made well. The prayer of a good man is full of power in its working.
Giacomo 5:17 Elia era un uomo sottoposto alle stesse passioni che noi, e pregò ardentemente che non piovesse, e non piovve sulla terra per tre anni e sei mesi.	James 5:17 Elijah was a man of flesh and blood as we are, and he made a strong prayer that there might be no rain; and there was no rain on the earth for three years and six months.
Giacomo 5:18 Pregò di nuovo, e il cielo diede la pioggia, e la terra produsse il suo frutto.	James 5:18 And he made another prayer, and the heaven sent down rain and the earth gave her fruit.
Giacomo 5:19 Fratelli miei, se qualcuno fra voi si svia dalla verità e uno lo converte,	James 5:19 My brothers, if one of you has gone out of the way of the true faith and another has made him see his error,
Giacomo 5:20 sappia colui che chi converte un peccatore dall’error della sua via salverà l’anima di lui dalla morte e coprirà moltitudine di peccati.	James 5:20 Be certain that he through whom a sinner has been turned from the error of his way, keeps a soul from death and is the cause of forgiveness for sins without number.
