Giobbe 18	Job 18
Giobbe 18:1 Allora Bildad di Suach rispose e disse:	Job 18:1 Then Bildad the Shuhite made answer and said,
Giobbe 18:2 "Quando porrete fine alle parole? Fate senno, e poi parleremo.	Job 18:2 How long will it be before you have done talking? Get wisdom, and then we will say what is in our minds.
Giobbe 18:3 Perché siamo considerati come bruti e perché siamo agli occhi vostri degli esseri impuri?	Job 18:3 Why do we seem as beasts in your eyes, and as completely without knowledge?
Giobbe 18:4 O tu, che nel tuo cruccio laceri te stesso, dovrà la terra, per cagion tua, essere abbandonata e la roccia esser rimossa dal suo luogo?	Job 18:4 But come back, now, come: you who are wounding yourself in your passion, will the earth be given up because of you, or a rock be moved out of its place?
Giobbe 18:5 Sì, la luce dell’empio si spegne, e la fiamma del suo fuoco non brilla.	Job 18:5 For the light of the sinner is put out, and the flame of his fire is not shining.
Giobbe 18:6 La luce si oscura nella sua tenda, e la lampada che gli sta sopra si spegne.	Job 18:6 The light is dark in his tent, and the light shining over him is put out.
Giobbe 18:7 I passi che facea nella sua forza si raccorciano, e i suoi propri disegni lo menano a ruina.	Job 18:7 The steps of his strength become short, and by his design destruction overtakes him.
Giobbe 18:8 Poiché i suoi piedi lo traggon nel tranello, e va camminando sulle reti.	Job 18:8 His feet take him into the net, and he goes walking into the cords.
Giobbe 18:9 Il laccio l’afferra pel tallone, e la trappola lo ghermisce.	Job 18:9 His foot is taken in the net; he comes into its grip.
Giobbe 18:10 Sta nascosta in terra per lui un’insidia, e sul sentiero lo aspetta un agguato.	Job 18:10 The twisted cord is put secretly in the earth to take him, and the cord is placed in his way.
Giobbe 18:11 Paure lo atterriscono d’ogn’intorno, lo inseguono, gli stanno alle calcagna.	Job 18:11 He is overcome by fears on every side, they go after him at every step.
Giobbe 18:12 La sua forza vien meno dalla fame, la calamità gli sta pronta al fianco.	Job 18:12 His strength is made feeble for need of food, and destruction is waiting for his falling footstep.
Giobbe 18:13 Gli divora a pezzo a pezzo la pelle, gli divora le membra il primogenito della morte.	Job 18:13 His skin is wasted by disease, and his body is food for the worst of diseases.
Giobbe 18:14 Egli è strappato dalla sua tenda che credea sicura, e fatto scendere verso il re degli spaventi.	Job 18:14 He is pulled out of his tent where he was safe, and he is taken away to the king of fears.
Giobbe 18:15 Nella sua tenda dimora chi non è de’ suoi, e la sua casa è cosparsa di zolfo.	Job 18:15 In his tent will be seen that which is not his, burning stone is dropped on his house.
Giobbe 18:16 In basso s’inaridiscono le sue radici, in alto son tagliati i suoi rami.	Job 18:16 Under the earth his roots are dry, and over it his branch is cut off.
Giobbe 18:17 La sua memoria scompare dal paese, più non s’ode il suo nome per le campagne.	Job 18:17 His memory is gone from the earth, and in the open country there is no knowledge of his name.
Giobbe 18:18 E’ cacciato dalla luce nelle tenebre, ed è bandito dal mondo.	Job 18:18 He is sent away from the light into the dark; he is forced out of the world.
Giobbe 18:19 Non lascia tra il suo popolo né figli, né nipoti, nessun superstite dov’egli soggiornava.	Job 18:19 He has no offspring or family among his people, and in his living-place there is no one of his name.
Giobbe 18:20 Quei d’occidente son stupiti della sua sorte, e quei d’oriente ne son presi d’orrore.	Job 18:20 At his fate those of the west are shocked, and those of the east are overcome with fear.
Giobbe 18:21 Certo son tali le dimore dei perversi e tale è il luogo di chi non conosce Iddio".	Job 18:21 Truly, these are the houses of the sinner, and this is the place of him who has no knowledge of God.
