Giobbe 36:1 Poi Elihu seguitando disse:	Job 36:1 And Elihu went on to say,
Giobbe 36:2 "Aspetta un po’, io t’istruirò; perché c’è da dire ancora a pro di Dio.	Job 36:2 Give me a little more time, and I will make it clear to you; for I have still something to say for God.
Giobbe 36:3 Io trarrò la mia scienza da lontano e renderò giustizia a colui che m’ha fatto.	Job 36:3 I will get my knowledge from far, and I will give righteousness to my Maker.
Giobbe 36:4 Per certo, le mie parole non son bugiarde; ti sta dinanzi un uomo dotato di perfetta scienza.	Job 36:4 For truly my words are not false; one who has all knowledge is talking with you.
Giobbe 36:5 Ecco, Iddio è potente, ma non disdegna nessuno; è potente per la forza dell’intelletto suo.	Job 36:5 Truly, God gives up the hard-hearted, and will not give life to the sinner.
Giobbe 36:6 Ei non lascia viver l’empio, e fa ragione ai miseri.	Job 36:6 His eyes are ever on the upright, and he gives to the crushed their right;
Giobbe 36:7 Non storna lo sguardo suo dai giusti, ma li pone coi re sul trono, ve li fa sedere per sempre, e così li esalta	Job 36:7 Lifting them up to the seat of kings, and making them safe for ever.
Giobbe 36:8 Se gli uomini son talora stretti da catene se son presi nei legami dell’afflizione,	Job 36:8 And if they have been prisoned in chains, and taken in cords of trouble,
Giobbe 36:9 Dio fa lor conoscere la lor condotta, le loro trasgressioni, giacché si sono insuperbiti;	Job 36:9 Then he makes clear to them what they have done, even their evil works in which they have taken pride.
Giobbe 36:10 egli apre così i loro orecchi a’ suoi ammonimenti, e li esorta ad abbandonare il male.	Job 36:10 Their ear is open to his teaching, and he gives them orders so that their hearts may be turned from evil.
Giobbe 36:11 Se l’ascoltano, se si sottomettono, finiscono i loro giorni nel benessere, e gli anni loro nella gioia;	Job 36:11 If they give ear to his voice, and do his word, then he gives them long life, and years full of pleasure.
Giobbe 36:12 ma, se non l’ascoltano, periscon trafitti da’ suoi dardi, muoiono per mancanza d’intendimento.	Job 36:12 But if not, they come to their end, and give up their breath without knowledge.
Giobbe 36:13 Gli empi di cuore s’abbandonano alla collera, non implorano Iddio quand’ei gl’incatena;	Job 36:13 Those who have no fear of God keep wrath stored up in their hearts; they give no cry for help when they are made prisoners.
Giobbe 36:14 così muoiono nel fior degli anni, e la lor vita finisce come quella dei dissoluti;	Job 36:14 They come to their end while they are still young, their life is short like that of those who are used for sex purposes in the worship of their gods.
Giobbe 36:15 ma Dio libera l’afflitto mediante l’afflizione, e gli apre gli orecchi mediante la sventura.	Job 36:15 He makes the wrong done to the poor the way of their salvation, opening their ears by their trouble.
Giobbe 36:16 Te pure ei vuol trarre dalle fauci della distretta, al largo, dove non è più angustia, e coprir la tua mensa tranquilla di cibi succulenti.	Job 36:16 ...
Giobbe 36:17 Ma, se giudichi le vie di Dio come fan gli empi, il giudizio e la sentenza di lui ti piomberanno addosso.	Job 36:17 ...
Giobbe 36:18 Bada che la collera non ti trasporti alla bestemmia, e la grandezza del riscatto non t’induca a fuorviare!	Job 36:18 ...
Giobbe 36:19 Farebbe egli caso delle tue ricchezze? Non han valore per lui, né l’oro, né tutta la possanza dell’opulenza.	Job 36:19 ...
Giobbe 36:20 Non anelare a quella notte che porta via i popoli dal luogo loro.	Job 36:20 ...
Giobbe 36:21 Guardati bene dal volgerti all’iniquità, tu che sembri preferirla all’afflizione.	Job 36:21 Take care not to be turned to sin, for you have taken evil for your part in place of sorrow.
Giobbe 36:22 Vedi, Iddio è eccelso nella sua potenza; chi può insegnare come lui?	Job 36:22 Truly God is lifted up in strength; who is a ruler like him?
Giobbe 36:23 Chi gli prescrive la via da seguire? Chi osa dirgli: "Tu hai fatto male?"	Job 36:23 Who ever gave orders to him, or said to him, You have done wrong?
Giobbe 36:24 Pensa piuttosto a magnificar le sue opere; gli uomini le celebrano nei loro canti,	Job 36:24 See that you give praise to his work, about which men make songs.
Giobbe 36:25 tutti le ammirano, il mortale le contempla da lungi.	Job 36:25 All people are looking on it; man sees it from far.
Giobbe 36:26 Sì, Iddio è grande e noi non lo possiam conoscere; incalcolabile è il numero degli anni suoi.	Job 36:26 Truly, God is great, greater than all our knowledge; the number of his years may not be searched out.
Giobbe 36:27 Egli attrae a sé le gocciole dell’acqua; dai vapori ch’egli ha formato stilla la pioggia.	Job 36:27 For he takes up the drops from the sea; he sends them through his mist as rain,
Giobbe 36:28 Le nubi la spandono, la rovesciano sulla folla de’ mortali.	Job 36:28 Flowing down from the sky, and dropping on the peoples.
Giobbe 36:29 E chi può capire lo spiegamento delle nubi, i fragori che scoppiano nel suo padiglione?	Job 36:29 And who has knowledge of how the clouds are stretched out, or of the thunders of his tent?
Giobbe 36:30 Ecco, ora egli spiega intorno a sé la sua luce, or prende per coperta le profondità del mare.	Job 36:30 See, he is stretching out his mist, covering the tops of the mountains with it.
Giobbe 36:31 Per tal modo punisce i popoli, e dà loro del cibo in abbondanza.	Job 36:31 For by these he gives food to the peoples, and bread in full measure.
Giobbe 36:32 S’empie di fulmini le mani, e li lancia contro gli avversari.	Job 36:32 He takes the light in his hands, sending it against the mark.
Giobbe 36:33 Il rombo del tuono annunzia ch’ei viene, gli animali lo presenton vicino.	Job 36:33 The thunder makes clear his passion, and the storm gives news of his wrath.
