Isaia 34:1 Accostatevi, nazioni, per ascoltare! e voi, popoli, state attenti! Ascolti la terra con ciò che la riempie, e il mondo con tutto ciò che produce!	Isaiah 34:1 Come near, you nations, and give ear; take note, you peoples: let the earth and everything in it give ear; the world and all those living in it.
Isaia 34:2 Poiché l’Eterno è indignato contro tutte le nazioni, è adirato contro tutti i loro eserciti; ei le vota allo sterminio, le dà in balìa alla strage.	Isaiah 34:2 For the Lord is angry with all the nations, and his wrath is burning against all their armies: he has put them to the curse, he has given them to destruction.
Isaia 34:3 I loro uccisi son gettati via, i loro cadaveri esalan fetore, e i monti si sciolgono nel loro sangue.	Isaiah 34:3 Their dead bodies will be thick on the face of the earth, and their smell will come up, and the mountains will be flowing with their blood, and all the hills will come to nothing.
Isaia 34:4 Tutto l’esercito del cielo si dissolve; i cieli sono arrotolati come un libro, e tutto il loro esercito cade, come cade la foglia dalla vite, come cade il fogliame morto dal fico.	Isaiah 34:4 And the heavens will be rolled together like the roll of a book: and all their army will be gone, like a dead leaf from the vine, or a dry fruit from the fig-tree.
Isaia 34:5 La mia spada s’è inebriata nel cielo; ecco, essa sta per piombare su Edom, sul popolo che ho votato allo sterminio, per farne giustizia.	Isaiah 34:5 For my sword in heaven is full of wrath: see, it is coming down on Edom, in punishment on the people of my curse.
Isaia 34:6 La spada dell’Eterno è piena di sangue, è coperta di grasso, di sangue d’agnelli e di capri, di grasso d’arnioni di montoni; poiché l’Eterno fa un sacrifizio a Botsra, e un gran macello nel paese d’Edom.	Isaiah 34:6 The sword of the Lord is full of blood, it is fat with the best of the meat, with the blood of lambs and goats, with the best parts of the sheep: for the Lord has a feast in Bozrah, and much cattle will be put to death in the land of Edom.
Isaia 34:7 Cadon con quelli i bufali, i giovenchi ed i tori; il loro suolo è inebriato di sangue, la loro polvere è impregnata di grasso.	Isaiah 34:7 And the strong oxen will go down to death together with the smaller cattle.
Isaia 34:8 Poiché è il giorno della vendetta dell’Eterno, l’anno della retribuzione per la causa di Sion.	Isaiah 34:8 For it is the day of the Lord's punishment, when he gives payment for the wrongs done to Zion.
Isaia 34:9 I torrenti d’Edom saran mutati in pece, e la sua polvere in zolfo, e la sua terra diventerà pece ardente.	Isaiah 34:9 And its streams will be turned into boiling oil, and its dust into burning stone, and all the land will be on fire.
Isaia 34:10 Non si spegnerà né notte né giorno, il fumo ne salirà in perpetuo; d’età in età rimarrà deserta, nessuno vi passerà mai più.	Isaiah 34:10 It will not be put out day or night; its smoke will go up for ever: it will be waste from generation to generation; no one will go through it for ever.
Isaia 34:11 Il pellicano e il porcospino ne prenderanno possesso, la civetta ed il corvo v’abiteranno; l’Eterno vi stenderà la corda della desolazione, il livello del deserto.	Isaiah 34:11 But the birds of the waste land will have their place there; it will be a heritage for the bittern and the raven: and it will be measured out with line and weight as a waste land.
Isaia 34:12 Quanto ai suoi nobili, non ve ne saran più per proclamare un re, e tutti i suoi principi saran ridotti a nulla.	Isaiah 34:12 The jackals will be there, and her great ones will be gone; they will say, There is no longer a kingdom there, and all her chiefs will have come to an end.
Isaia 34:13 Nei suoi palazzi cresceranno le spine; nelle sue fortezze, le ortiche ed i cardi; diventerà una dimora di sciacalli, un chiuso per gli struzzi.	Isaiah 34:13 And thorns will come up in her fair houses, and waste plants in her strong towers: and foxes will make their holes there, and it will be a meeting-place for ostriches.
Isaia 34:14 Le bestie del deserto vi s’incontreranno coi cani selvatici, il satiro vi chiamerà il compagno; quivi lo spettro notturno farà la sua dimora, e vi troverà il suo luogo di riposo.	Isaiah 34:14 And the beasts of the waste places will come together with the jackals, and the evil spirits will be crying to one another, even the night-spirit will come and make her resting-place there.
Isaia 34:15 Quivi il serpente farà il suo nido, deporrà le sue uova, le coverà, e raccoglierà i suoi piccini sotto di sé; quivi si raccoglieranno gli avvoltoi, l’uno chiamando l’altro.	Isaiah 34:15 The arrowsnake will make her hole and put her eggs there, and get her young together under her shade: there the hawks will come together by twos.
Isaia 34:16 cercate nel libro dell’Eterno, e leggete; nessuna di quelle bestie vi mancherà; nessuna sarà privata della sua compagna; poiché la sua bocca l’ha comandato, e il suo soffio li radunerà.	Isaiah 34:16 See what is recorded in the book of the Lord: all these will be there, not one without the other: the mouth of the Lord has given the order, and his spirit has made them come together.
Isaia 34:17 Egli stesso ha tirato a sorte per essi, e la sua mano ha diviso tra loro con la corda il paese; quelli ne avranno il possesso in perpetuo, v’abiteranno d’età in età.	Isaiah 34:17 And he has given them their heritage, and by his hand it has been measured out to them: it will be theirs for ever, their resting-place from generation to generation.
