Isaia 58:1 Grida a piena gola, non ti rattenere, alza la tua voce a guisa di tromba, e dichiara al mio popolo le sue trasgressioni, e alla casa di Giacobbe i suoi peccati!	Isaiah 58:1 Make a loud cry, do not be quiet, let your voice be sounding like a horn, and make clear to my people their evil doings, and to the family of Jacob their sins.
Isaia 58:2 Mi cercano ogni giorno, prendon piacere a conoscer le mie vie; come una nazione che avesse praticato la giustizia e non avesse abbandonata la legge del suo Dio, mi domandano de’ giudizi giusti, prendon piacere ad accostarsi a Dio.	Isaiah 58:2 Though they make prayer to me every day, and take pleasure in the knowledge of my ways: like a nation which has done righteousness, and has not given up the rules of their God, they make requests to me for the right orders, it is their delight to come near to God.
Isaia 58:3 "Perché, dicono essi, quando abbiam digiunato, non ci hai tu avuto riguardo?" "Perché quando abbiamo afflitte le anime nostre, non v’hai tu posto mente?" Ecco, nel giorno del vostro digiuno voi fate i vostri affari, ed esigete che sian fatti tutti i vostri lavori.	Isaiah 58:3 They say, Why have we kept ourselves from food, and you do not see it? why have we kept ourselves from pleasure, and you take no note of it? If, in the days when you keep from food, you take the chance to do your business, and get in your debts;
Isaia 58:4 Ecco, voi digiunate per litigare, per questionare, e percuotere empiamente col pugno; oggi, voi non digiunate in modo da far ascoltare la vostra voce in alto.	Isaiah 58:4 If keeping from food makes you quickly angry, ready for fighting and giving blows with evil hands; your holy days are not such as to make your voice come to my ears on high.
Isaia 58:5 E’ questo il digiuno di cui io mi compiaccio? il giorno in cui l’uomo affligge l’anima sua? Curvar la testa come un giunco, sdraiarsi sul sacco e sulla cenere, è egli questo che tu chiami un digiuno, un giorno accetto all’Eterno?	Isaiah 58:5 Have I given orders for such a day as this? a day for keeping yourselves from pleasure? is it only a question of the bent head, of putting on haircloth, and being seated in the dust? is this what seems to you a holy day, well-pleasing to the Lord?
Isaia 58:6 Il digiuno di cui mi compiaccio non è egli questo: che si spezzino le catene della malvagità, che si sciolgano i legami del giogo, che si lascino liberi gli oppressi, e che s’infranga ogni sorta di giogo?	Isaiah 58:6 Is not this the holy day for which I have given orders: to let loose those who have wrongly been made prisoners, to undo the bands of the yoke, and to let the crushed go free, and every yoke be broken?
Isaia 58:7 Non è egli questo: che tu divida il tuo pane con chi ha fame, che tu meni a casa tua gl’infelici senz’asilo, che quando vedi uno ignudo tu lo copra, e che tu non ti nasconda a colui ch’è carne della tua carne?	Isaiah 58:7 Is it not to give your bread to those in need, and to let the poor who have no resting-place come into your house? to put a robe on the unclothed one when you see him, and not to keep your eyes shut for fear of seeing his flesh?
Isaia 58:8 Allora la tua luce spunterà come l’aurora, e la tua guarigione germoglierà prontamente; la tua giustizia ti precederà, e la gloria dell’Eterno sarà la tua retroguardia.	Isaiah 58:8 Then will light be shining on you like the morning, and your wounds will quickly be well: and your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will come after you.
Isaia 58:9 Allora chiamerai, e l’Eterno ti risponderà; griderai, ed egli dirà: "Eccomi!" Se tu togli di mezzo a te il giogo, il gesto minaccioso ed il parlare iniquo;	Isaiah 58:9 Then at the sound of your voice, the Lord will give an answer; at your cry he will say, Here am I. If you take away from among you the yoke, the putting out of the finger of shame, and the evil word;
Isaia 58:10 se l’anima tua supplisce ai bisogni dell’affamato, e sazi l’anima afflitta, la tua luce si leverà nelle tenebre, e la tua notte oscura sarà come il mezzodì;	Isaiah 58:10 And if you give your bread to those in need of it, so that the troubled one may have his desire; then you will have light in the dark, and your night will be as the full light of the sun:
Isaia 58:11 l’Eterno ti guiderà del continuo, sazierà l’anima tua ne’ luoghi aridi, darà vigore alle tue ossa; e tu sarai come un giardino ben annaffiato, come una sorgente la cui acqua non manca mai.	Isaiah 58:11 And the Lord will be your guide at all times; in dry places he will give you water in full measure, and will make strong your bones; and you will be like a watered garden, and like an ever-flowing spring.
Isaia 58:12 I tuoi riedificheranno le antiche ruine; tu rialzerai le fondamenta gettate da molte età, e sarai chiamato "il riparatore delle brecce", "il restauratore de’ sentieri per rendere abitabile il paese".	Isaiah 58:12 And your sons will be building again the old waste places: you will make strong the bases of old generations: and you will be named, He who puts up the broken walls, and, He who makes ready the ways for use.
Isaia 58:13 Se tu trattieni il piè per non violare il sabato facendo i tuoi affari nel mio santo giorno; se chiami il sabato una delizia, e venerabile ciò ch’è sacro all’Eterno, e se onori quel giorno anziché seguir le tue vie e fare i tuoi affari e discuter le tue cause,	Isaiah 58:13 If you keep the Sabbath with care, not doing your business on my holy day; and if the Sabbath seems to you a delight, and the new moon of the Lord a thing to be honoured; and if you give respect to him by not doing your business, or going after your pleasure, or saying unholy words;
Isaia 58:14 allora troverai la tua delizia nell’Eterno; io ti farò passare in cocchio sulle alture del paese, ti nutrirò delle eredità di Giacobbe tuo padre, poiché la bocca dell’Eterno ha parlato.	Isaiah 58:14 Then the Lord will be your delight; and I will put you on the high places of the earth; and I will give you the heritage of Jacob your father: for the mouth of the Lord has said it.
