Tito 2	Titus 2
Tito 2:1 Ma tu esponi le cose che si convengono alla sana dottrina:	Titus 2:1 But let your words be in agreement with true and right teaching:
Tito 2:2 Che i vecchi siano sobri, gravi, assennati, sani nella fede, nell’amore, nella pazienza:	Titus 2:2 That old men are to be simple in their tastes, serious, wise, true in faith, in love, and of a quiet mind.
Tito 2:3 che le donne attempate abbiano parimente un portamento convenevole a santità, non siano maldicenti né dedite a molto vino, siano maestre di ciò che è buono;	Titus 2:3 That old women are to be self-respecting in behaviour, not saying evil of others, not given to taking much wine, teachers of that which is good,
Tito 2:4 onde insegnino alle giovani ad amare i mariti, ad amare i figliuoli,	Titus 2:4 Training the younger women to have love for their husbands and children,
Tito 2:5 ad esser assennate, caste, date ai lavori domestici, buone, soggette ai loro mariti, affinché la Parola di Dio non sia bestemmiata.	Titus 2:5 To be wise in mind, clean in heart, kind; working in their houses, living under the authority of their husbands; so that no evil may be said of the word of God.
Tito 2:6 Esorta parimente i giovani ad essere assennati,	Titus 2:6 To the young men give orders to be wise and serious-minded:
Tito 2:7 dando te stesso in ogni cosa come esempio di opere buone; mostrando nell’insegnamento purità incorrotta, gravità,	Titus 2:7 In all things see that you are an example of good works; holy in your teaching, serious in behaviour,
Tito 2:8 parlar sano, irreprensibile, onde l’avversario resti confuso, non avendo nulla di male da dire di noi.	Titus 2:8 Saying true and right words, against which no protest may be made, so that he who is not on our side may be put to shame, unable to say any evil of us.
Tito 2:9 Esorta i servi ad esser sottomessi ai loro padroni, a compiacerli in ogni cosa, a non contradirli,	Titus 2:9 Servants are to be under the authority of their masters, pleasing them in all things, without argument;
Tito 2:10 a non frodarli, ma a mostrar sempre lealtà perfetta, onde onorino la dottrina di Dio, nostro Salvatore, in ogni cosa.	Titus 2:10 Not taking what is not theirs, but giving clear signs of their good faith, in all things doing credit to the teaching of God our Saviour.
Tito 2:11 Poiché la grazia di Dio, salutare per tutti gli uomini, è apparsa	Titus 2:11 For the grace of God has come, giving salvation to all men,
Tito 2:12 e ci ammaestra a rinunziare all’empietà e alle mondane concupiscenze, per vivere in questo mondo temperatamente, giustamente e piamente,	Titus 2:12 Training us so that, turning away from evil and the desires of this world, we may be living wisely and uprightly in the knowledge of God in this present life;
Tito 2:13 aspettando la beata speranza e l’apparizione della gloria del nostro grande Iddio e Salvatore, Cristo Gesù;	Titus 2:13 Looking for the glad hope, the revelation of the glory of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ;
Tito 2:14 il quale ha dato se stesso per noi al fine di riscattarci da ogni iniquità e di purificarsi un popolo suo proprio, zelante nelle opere buone.	Titus 2:14 Who gave himself for us, so that he might make us free from all wrongdoing, and make for himself a people clean in heart and on fire with good works.
Tito 2:15 Insegna queste cose, ed esorta e riprendi con ogni autorità. Niuno ti sprezzi.	Titus 2:15 On all these points give teaching and help, and make clear what is right with all authority. Let all men give you honour.
