Zaccaria 1:1 L’ottavo mese, il secondo anno di Dario, la parola dell’Eterno fu rivolta al profeta Zaccaria, figliuolo di Berekia, figliuolo d’Iddo, il profeta, in questi termini:	Zechariah 1:1 In the eighth month, in the second year of Darius, the word of the Lord came to Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying,
Zaccaria 1:2 "L’Eterno è stato gravemente adirato contro i vostri padri.	Zechariah 1:2 The Lord has been very angry with your fathers:
Zaccaria 1:3 Tu, dunque, di’ loro: Così parla l’Eterno degli eserciti: Tornate a me, dice l’Eterno degli eserciti, e io tornerò a voi; dice l’Eterno degli eserciti.	Zechariah 1:3 And you are to say to them, These are the words of the Lord of armies: Come back to me, says the Lord of armies, and I will come back to you.
Zaccaria 1:4 Non siate come i vostri padri, ai quali i profeti precedenti si rivolgevano, dicendo: Così parla l’Eterno degli eserciti: Ritraetevi dalle vostre vie malvage, dalle vostre malvage azioni! Ma essi non dettero ascolto, e non prestarono attenzione a me, dice l’Eterno.	Zechariah 1:4 Be not like your fathers, to whom the voice of the earlier prophets came, saying, Be turned now from your evil ways and from your evil doings: but they did not give ear to me or take note, says the Lord.
Zaccaria 1:5 I vostri padri dove son essi? E i profeti potevan essi vivere in perpetuo?	Zechariah 1:5 Your fathers, where are they? and the prophets, do they go on living for ever?
Zaccaria 1:6 Ma le mie parole e i miei decreti, dei quali avevo dato incarico ai miei servi i profeti, non arrivarono essi a colpire i padri vostri? Allora essi si convertirono, e dissero: L’Eterno degli eserciti ci ha trattati secondo le nostre vie e secondo le nostre azioni, come avea risoluto di fare".	Zechariah 1:6 But my words and my orders, which I gave to my servants the prophets, have they not overtaken your fathers? and turning back they said, As it was the purpose of the Lord of armies to do to us, in reward for our ways and our doings, so has he done.
Zaccaria 1:7 Il ventiquattresimo giorno dell’undecimo mese, che è il mese di Scebat, nel secondo anno di Dario, la parola dell’Eterno fu rivolta a Zaccaria, figliuolo di Berekia, figliuolo d’Iddo, il profeta, in questi termini:	Zechariah 1:7 On the twenty-fourth day of the eleventh month, the month Shebat, in the second year of Darius, the word of the Lord came to Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying,
Zaccaria 1:8 Io ebbi, di notte, una visione; ed ecco un uomo montato sopra un cavallo rosso; egli stava fra le piante di mortella in un luogo profondo; e dietro a lui c’eran de’ cavalli rossi, sauri e bianchi.	Zechariah 1:8 I saw in the night a man on a red horse, between the mountains in the valley, and at his back were horses, red, black, white, and of mixed colours.
Zaccaria 1:9 E io dissi: "Che son questi, signor mio?" E l’angelo che parlava meco mi disse: "Io ti farò vedere che cosa son questi".	Zechariah 1:9 Then I said, O my lord, what are these? And the angel who was talking to me said to me, I will make clear to you what they are.
Zaccaria 1:10 E l’uomo che stava fra le piante di mortella prese a dire: "Questi son quelli che l’Eterno ha mandati a percorrere la terra".	Zechariah 1:10 And the man who was between the mountains, answering me, said, These are those whom the Lord has sent to go up and down through the earth.
Zaccaria 1:11 E quelli si rivolsero all’angelo dell’Eterno che stava fra le piante di mortella, e dissero: "Noi abbiam percorso la terra, ed ecco tutta la terra è in riposo e tranquilla".	Zechariah 1:11 And the man who was between the mountains, answering, said to the angel of the Lord, We have gone up and down through the earth, and all the earth is quiet and at rest.
Zaccaria 1:12 Allora l’angelo dell’Eterno prese a dire: "O Eterno degli eserciti, fino a quando non avrai tu pietà di Gerusalemme e delle città di Giuda, contro le quali sei stato indignato durante quei settant’anni?"	Zechariah 1:12 Then the angel of the Lord, answering, said, O Lord of armies, how long will it be before you have mercy on Jerusalem and on the towns of Judah against which your wrath has been burning for seventy years?
Zaccaria 1:13 E l’Eterno rivolse all’angelo che parlava meco, delle buone parole, delle parole di conforto.	Zechariah 1:13 And the Lord gave an answer in good and comforting words to the angel who was talking to me.
Zaccaria 1:14 E l’angelo che parlava meco mi disse: "Grida e di’: Così parla l’Eterno degli eserciti: Io provo una gran gelosia per Gerusalemme e per Sion;	Zechariah 1:14 And the angel who was talking to me said to me, Let your voice be loud and say, These are the words of the Lord of armies: I am greatly moved about the fate of Jerusalem and of Zion.
Zaccaria 1:15 e provo un grande sdegno contro le nazioni che se ne stanno ora tranquille, e che, quand’io m’indignai un poco contro di essa, contribuirono ad accrescer la sua disgrazia.	Zechariah 1:15 And I am very angry with the nations who are living untroubled: for when I was only a little angry, they made the evil worse.
Zaccaria 1:16 Perciò così parla l’Eterno: Io mi volgo di nuovo a Gerusalemme con compassione; la mia casa vi sarà ricostruita, dice l’Eterno degli eserciti, e la corda sarà di nuovo tirata su Gerusalemme.	Zechariah 1:16 So this is what the Lord has said: I have come back to Jerusalem with mercies; my house is to be put up in her, says the Lord of armies, and a line is to be stretched out over Jerusalem.
Zaccaria 1:17 Grida ancora, e di’: Così parla l’Eterno degli eserciti: le mie città rigurgiteranno ancora di beni, e l’Eterno consolerà ancora Sion, e sceglierà ancora Gerusalemme".	Zechariah 1:17 And again let your voice be loud and say, This is what the Lord of armies has said: My towns will again be overflowing with good things, and again the Lord will give comfort to Zion and take Jerusalem for himself.
Zaccaria 1:18 Poi alzai gli occhi, e guardai, ed ecco quattro corna.	Zechariah 1:18 And lifting up my eyes I saw four horns.
Zaccaria 1:19 E io dissi all’angelo che parlava meco: "Che son queste?" Egli mi rispose: "Queste son le corna che hanno disperso Giuda, Israele e Gerusalemme".	Zechariah 1:19 And I said to the angel who was talking to me, What are these? And he said to me, These are the horns which have sent Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem in flight.
Zaccaria 1:20 E l’Eterno mi fece vedere quattro fabbri.	Zechariah 1:20 And the Lord gave me a vision of four metal-workers.
Zaccaria 1:21 E io dissi: "Questi, che vengono a fare?" Egli rispose e mi disse: "Quelle là son le corna che hanno disperso Giuda, sì che nessuno alzava più il capo; ma questi qui vengono per spaventarle, per abbattere le corna della nazioni, che hanno alzato il loro corno contro il paese di Giuda per disperderne gli abitanti".	Zechariah 1:21 Then I said, What have these come to do? And he said, These are the horns which sent Judah in flight, and kept him from lifting up his head: but these men have come to send fear on them and to put down the nations who are lifting up their horns against the land of Judah to send it in flight.
