Êxodo 4:1 Então respondeu Moisés: Mas eis que não me crerão, nem ouvirão a minha voz, pois dirão: O Senhor não te apareceu.	Exodus 4:1 And Moses answered and said, But, behold, they will not believe me, nor hearken unto my voice; for they will say, Jehovah hath not appeared unto thee.
Êxodo 4:2 Ao que lhe perguntou o Senhor: Que é isso na tua mão. Disse Moisés: uma vara.	Exodus 4:2 And Jehovah said unto him, What is that in thy hand? And he said, A rod.
Êxodo 4:3 Ordenou-lhe o Senhor: Lança-a no chão. Ele a lançou no chão, e ela se tornou em cobra; e Moisés fugiu dela.	Exodus 4:3 And he said, Cast in on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it.
Êxodo 4:4 Então disse o Senhor a Moisés: Estende a mão e pega-lhe pela cauda ;	Exodus 4:4 And Jehovah said unto Moses, Put forth thy hand, and take it by the tail: (and he put forth his hand, and laid hold of it, and it became a rod in his hand:)
Êxodo 4:5 para que eles creiam que te apareceu o Senhor, o Deus de seus pais, o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaque e o Deus de Jacó.	Exodus 4:5 That they may believe that Jehovah, the God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath appeared unto thee.
Êxodo 4:6 Disse-lhe mais o Senhor: Mete agora a mão no seio. E meteu a mão no seio. E quando a tirou, eis que a mão estava leprosa, branca como a neve.	Exodus 4:6 And Jehovah said furthermore unto him, Put now thy hand into thy bosom. And he put his hand into his bosom: and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous, as [white as] snow.
Êxodo 4:7 Disse-lhe ainda: Torna a meter a mão no seio.	Exodus 4:7 And he said, Put thy hand into thy bosom again. (And he put his hand into his bosom again; and when he took it out of his bosom, behold, it was turned again as his [other] flesh.)
Êxodo 4:8 E sucederá que, se eles não te crerem, nem atentarem para o primeiro sinal, crerão ao segundo sinal.	Exodus 4:8 And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe thee, neither hearken to the voice of the first sign, that they will believe the voice of the latter sign.
Êxodo 4:9 E se ainda não crerem a estes dois sinais, nem ouvirem a tua voz, então tomarás da água do rio, e a derramarás sobre a terra seca; e a água que tomares do rio tornar-se-á em sangue sobre a terra seca.	Exodus 4:9 And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe even these two signs, neither hearken unto thy voice, that thou shalt take of the water of the river, and pour it upon the dry land: and the water which thou takest out of the river shall become blood upon the dry land.
Êxodo 4:10 Então disse Moisés ao Senhor: Ah, Senhor! eu não sou eloqüente, nem o fui dantes, nem ainda depois que falaste ao teu servo; porque sou pesado de boca e pesado de língua.	Exodus 4:10 And Moses said unto Jehovah, Oh, Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant; for I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.
Êxodo 4:11 Ao que lhe replicou o Senhor: Quem faz a boca do homem? ou quem faz o mudo, ou o surdo, ou o que vê, ou o cego?. Não sou eu, o Senhor?	Exodus 4:11 And Jehovah said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? Or who maketh [a man] dumb, or deaf, or seeing, or blind? Is it not I, Jehovah?
Êxodo 4:12 Vai, pois, agora, e eu serei com a tua boca e te ensinarei o que hás de falar.	Exodus 4:12 Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt speak.
Êxodo 4:13 Ele, porém, respondeu: Ah, Senhor! envia, peço-te, por mão daquele a quem tu hás de enviar.	Exodus 4:13 And he said, Oh, Lord, send, I pray thee, by the hand of him whom thou wilt send.
Êxodo 4:14 Então se acendeu contra Moisés a ira do Senhor, e disse ele: Não é Arão, o levita, teu irmão? eu sei que ele pode falar bem. Eis que ele também te sai ao encontro, e vendo-te, se alegrará em seu coração.	Exodus 4:14 And the anger of Jehovah was kindled against Moses, and he said, Is there not Aaron thy brother the Levite? I know that he can speak well. And also, behold, he cometh forth to meet thee: and when he seeth thee, he will be glad in his heart.
Êxodo 4:15 Tu, pois, lhe falarás, e porás as palavras na sua boca; e eu serei com a tua boca e com a dele, e vos ensinarei o que haveis de fazer.	Exodus 4:15 And thou shalt speak unto him, and put the words in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do.
Êxodo 4:16 E ele falará por ti ao povo; assim ele te será por boca, e tu lhe serás por Deus.	Exodus 4:16 And he shall be thy spokesman unto the people; and it shall come to pass, that he shall be to thee a mouth, and thou shalt be to him as God.
Êxodo 4:17 Tomarás, pois, na tua mão esta vara, com que hás de fazer os sinais.	Exodus 4:17 And thou shalt take in thy hand this rod, wherewith thou shalt do the signs.
Êxodo 4:18 Então partiu Moisés, e voltando para Jetro, seu sogro, disse-lhe: Deixa-me, peço-te, voltar a meus irmãos, que estão no Egito, para ver se ainda vivem. Disse, pois, Jetro a Moisés: Vai-te em paz.	Exodus 4:18 And Moses went and returned to Jethro his father-in-law, and said unto him, Let me go, I pray thee, and return unto my brethren that are in Egypt, and see whether they be yet alive. And Jethro said to Moses, Go in peace.
Êxodo 4:19 Disse também o Senhor a Moisés em Midiã: Vai, volta para o Egito; porque morreram todos os que procuravam tirar-te a vida.	Exodus 4:19 And Jehovah said unto Moses in Midian, Go, return into Egypt; for all the men are dead that sought thy life.
Êxodo 4:20 Tomou, pois, Moisés sua mulher e seus filhos, e os fez montar num jumento e tornou à terra do Egito; e Moisés levou a vara de Deus na sua mão.	Exodus 4:20 And Moses took his wife and his sons, and set them upon an ass, and he returned to the land of Egypt: and Moses took the rod of God in his hand.
Êxodo 4:21 Disse ainda o Senhor a Moisés: Quando voltares ao Egito, vê que faças diante de Faraó todas as maravilhas que tenho posto na tua mão; mas eu endurecerei o seu coração, e ele não deixará ir o povo.	Exodus 4:21 And Jehovah said unto Moses, When thou goest back into Egypt, see that thou do before Pharaoh all the wonders which I have put in thy hand: but I will harden his heart and he will not let the people go.
Êxodo 4:22 Então dirás a Faraó: Assim diz o Senhor: Israel é meu filho, meu primogênito;	Exodus 4:22 And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith Jehovah, Israel is my son, my first-born:
Êxodo 4:23 e eu te tenho dito: Deixa ir: meu filho, para que me sirva. mas tu recusaste deixá-lo ir; eis que eu matarei o teu filho, o teu primogênito.	Exodus 4:23 and I have said unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me; and thou hast refused to let him go: behold, I will slay thy son, thy first-born.
Êxodo 4:24 Ora, sucedeu no caminho, numa estalagem, que o Senhor o encontrou, e quis matá-lo.	Exodus 4:24 And it came to pass on the way at the lodging-place, that Jehovah met him, and sought to kill him.
Êxodo 4:25 Então Zípora tomou uma faca de pedra, circuncidou o prepúcio de seu filho e, lançando-o aos pés de Moisés, disse: Com efeito, és para mim um esposo sanguinário.	Exodus 4:25 Then Zipporah took a flint, and cut off the foreskin of her son, and cast it at his feet; and she said, Surely a bridegroom of blood art thou to me.
Êxodo 4:26 O Senhor, pois, o deixou. Ela disse: Esposo sanguinário, por causa da circuncisão.	Exodus 4:26 So he let him alone. Then she said, A bridegroom of blood [art thou], because of the circumcision.
Êxodo 4:27 Disse o Senhor a Arão: Vai ao deserto, ao encontro de Moisés. E ele foi e, encontrando-o no monte de Deus, o beijou:	Exodus 4:27 And Jehovah said to Aaron, Go into the wilderness to meet Moses. And he went, and met him in the mountain of God, and kissed him.
Êxodo 4:28 E relatou Moisés a Arão todas as palavras com que o Senhor o enviara e todos os sinais que lhe mandara.	Exodus 4:28 And Moses told Aaron all the words of Jehovah wherewith he had sent him, and all the signs wherewith he had charged him.
Êxodo 4:29 Então foram Moisés e Arão e ajuntaram todos os anciãos dos filhos de Israel;	Exodus 4:29 And Moses and Aaron went and gathered together all the elders of the children of Israel:
Êxodo 4:30 e Arão falou todas as palavras que o Senhor havia dito a Moisés e fez os sinais perante os olhos do povo.	Exodus 4:30 and Aaron spake all the words which Jehovah had spoken unto Moses, and did the signs in the sight of the people.
Êxodo 4:31 E o povo creu; e quando ouviram que o Senhor havia visitado os filhos de Israel e que tinha visto a sua aflição, inclinaram-se, e adoraram.	Exodus 4:31 And the people believed: and when they heard that Jehovah had visited the children of Israel, and that he had seen their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshipped.
