Hebreus 5:1 Porque todo sumo sacerdote tomado dentre os homens é constituído a favor dos homens nas coisas concernentes a Deus, para que ofereça dons e sacrifícios pelos pecados,	Hebrews 5:1 For every high priest, being taken from among men, is appointed for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins:
Hebreus 5:2 podendo ele compadecer-se devidamente dos ignorantes e errados, porquanto também ele mesmo está rodeado de fraqueza.	Hebrews 5:2 who can bear gently with the ignorant and erring, for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity;
Hebreus 5:3 E por esta razão deve ele, tanto pelo povo como também por si mesmo, oferecer sacrifício pelos pecados.	Hebrews 5:3 and by reason thereof is bound, as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins.
Hebreus 5:4 Ora, ninguém toma para si esta honra, senão quando é chamado por Deus, como o foi Arão.	Hebrews 5:4 And no man taketh the honor unto himself, but when he is called of God, even as was Aaron.
Hebreus 5:5 assim também Cristo não se glorificou a si mesmo, para se fazer sumo sacerdote, mas o glorificou aquele que lhe disse: Tu és meu Filho, hoje te gerei;	Hebrews 5:5 So Christ also glorified not himself to be made a high priest, but he that spake unto him, Thou art my Son, This day have I begotten thee:
Hebreus 5:6 como também em outro lugar diz: Tu és sacerdote para sempre, segundo a ordem de Melquisedeque.	Hebrews 5:6 as he saith also in another [place,] Thou art a priest for ever After the order of Melchizedek.
Hebreus 5:7 O qual nos dias da sua carne, tendo oferecido, com grande clamor e lágrimas, orações e súplicas ao que podia livrar da morte, e tendo sido ouvido por causa da sua reverência,	Hebrews 5:7 Who in the days of his flesh, having offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and having been heard for his godly fear,
Hebreus 5:8 ainda que era Filho, aprendeu a obediência por meio daquilo que sofreu;	Hebrews 5:8 though he was a Son, yet learned obedience by the things which he suffered;
Hebreus 5:9 e, tendo sido aperfeiçoado, veio a ser autor de eterna salvação para todos os que lhe obedecem,	Hebrews 5:9 and having been made perfect, he became unto all them that obey him the author of eternal salvation;
Hebreus 5:10 sendo por Deus chamado sumo sacerdote, segundo a ordem de Melquisedeque.	Hebrews 5:10 named of God a high priest after the order of Melchizedek.
Hebreus 5:11 Sobre isso temos muito que dizer, mas de difícil interpretação, porquanto vos tornastes tardios em ouvir.	Hebrews 5:11 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard of interpretation, seeing ye are become dull of hearing.
Hebreus 5:12 Porque, devendo já ser mestres em razão do tempo, ainda necessitais de que se vos torne a ensinar os princípios elementares dos oráculos de Deus, e vos haveis feito tais que precisais de leite, e não de alimento sólido.	Hebrews 5:12 For when by reason of the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need again that some one teach you the rudiments of the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of solid food.
Hebreus 5:13 Ora, qualquer que se alimenta de leite é inexperiente na palavra da justiça, pois é criança;	Hebrews 5:13 For every one that partaketh of milk is without experience of the word of righteousness; for he is a babe.
Hebreus 5:14 mas o alimento sólido é para os adultos, os quais têm, pela prática, as faculdades exercitadas para discernir tanto o bem como o mal.	Hebrews 5:14 But solid food is for fullgrown men, [even] those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern good and evil.
