Salmos 91:1 Aquele que habita no esconderijo do Altíssimo, à sombra do Todo-Poderoso descansará.	Psalms 91:1 Happy is he whose resting-place is in the secret of the Lord, and under the shade of the wings of the Most High;
Salmos 91:2 Direi do Senhor: Ele é o meu refúgio e a minha fortaleza, o meu Deus, em quem confio.	Psalms 91:2 Who says of the Lord, He is my safe place and my tower of strength: he is my God, in whom is my hope.
Salmos 91:3 Porque ele te livra do laço do passarinho, e da peste perniciosa.	Psalms 91:3 He will take you out of the bird-net, and keep you safe from wasting disease.
Salmos 91:4 Ele te cobre com as suas penas, e debaixo das suas asas encontras refúgio; a sua verdade é escudo e broquel.	Psalms 91:4 You will be covered by his feathers; under his wings you will be safe: his good faith will be your salvation.
Salmos 91:5 Não temerás os terrores da noite, nem a seta que voe de dia,	Psalms 91:5 You will have no fear of the evil things of the night, or of the arrow in flight by day,
Salmos 91:6 nem peste que anda na escuridão, nem mortandade que assole ao meio-dia.	Psalms 91:6 Or of the disease which takes men in the dark, or of the destruction which makes waste when the sun is high.
Salmos 91:7 Mil poderão cair ao teu lado, e dez mil à tua direita; mas tu não serás atingido.	Psalms 91:7 You will see a thousand falling by your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you.
Salmos 91:8 Somente com os teus olhos contemplarás, e verás a recompensa dos ímpios.	Psalms 91:8 Only with your eyes will you see the reward of the evil-doers.
Salmos 91:9 Porquanto fizeste do Senhor o teu refúgio, e do Altíssimo a tua habitação,	Psalms 91:9 Because you have said, I am in the hands of the Lord, the Most High is my safe resting-place;
Salmos 91:10 nenhum mal te sucederá, nem praga alguma chegará à tua tenda.	Psalms 91:10 No evil will come on you, and no disease will come near your tent.
Salmos 91:11 Porque aos seus anjos dará ordem a teu respeito, para te guardarem em todos os teus caminhos.	Psalms 91:11 For he will give you into the care of his angels to keep you wherever you go.
Salmos 91:12 Eles te susterão nas suas mãos, para que não tropeces em alguma pedra.	Psalms 91:12 In their hands they will keep you up, so that your foot may not be crushed against a stone.
Salmos 91:13 Pisarás o leão e a áspide; calcarás aos pés o filho do leão e a serpente.	Psalms 91:13 You will put your foot on the lion and the snake; the young lion and the great snake will be crushed under your feet.
Salmos 91:14 Pois que tanto me amou, eu o livrarei; pô-lo-ei num alto retiro, porque ele conhece o meu nome.	Psalms 91:14 Because he has given me his love, I will take him out of danger: I will put him in a place of honour, because he has kept my name in his heart.
Salmos 91:15 Quando ele me invocar, eu lhe responderei; estarei com ele na angústia, livrá-lo-ei, e o honrarei.	Psalms 91:15 When his cry comes up to me, I will give him an answer: I will be with him in trouble; I will make him free from danger and give him honour.
Salmos 91:16 Com longura de dias fartá-lo-ei, e lhe mostrarei a minha salvação.	Psalms 91:16 With long life will he be rewarded; and I will let him see my salvation.
