Jeremias 29:1 Ora, são estas as palavras da carta que Jeremias, o profeta, enviou de Jerusalém, aos que restavam dos anciãos do cativeiro, como também aos sacerdotes, e aos profetas, e a todo o povo, que Nabucodonozor levara cativos de Jerusalém para Babilônia,	Jeremiah 29:1 Now these are the words of the letter which Jeremiah the prophet sent from Jerusalem to the responsible men among those who had been taken away, and to the priests and the prophets and to all the rest of the people whom Nebuchadnezzar had taken away prisoners from Jerusalem to Babylon;
Jeremias 29:2 depois de terem saído de Jerusalém o rei Jeconias, e a rainha-mãe, e os eunucos, e os príncipes de Judá e Jerusalém e os artífices e os ferreiros.	Jeremiah 29:2 (After Jeconiah the king and the queen-mother and the unsexed servants and the rulers of Judah and Jerusalem and the expert workmen and the metal-workers had gone away from Jerusalem;)
Jeremias 29:3 Veio por mão de Elasa, filho de Safã, e de Gemarias, filho de Hilquias, os quais Zedequias, rei de Judá, enviou a Babilônia, a Nabucodonozor, rei de Babilônia; eis as palavras da carta:	Jeremiah 29:3 By the hand of Elasah, the son of Shaphan, and Gemariah, the son of Hilkiah, (whom Zedekiah, king of Judah, sent to Babylon, to Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon,) saying,
Jeremias 29:4 Assim diz o Senhor dos exércitos, o Deus de Israel, a todos os do cativeiro, que eu fiz levar cativos de Jerusalém para Babilônia:	Jeremiah 29:4 This is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel, has said to all those whom I have taken away prisoners from Jerusalem to Babylon:
Jeremias 29:5 Edificai casas e habitai-as; plantai jardins, e comei o seu fruto.	Jeremiah 29:5 Go on building houses and living in them, and planting gardens and using the fruit of them;
Jeremias 29:6 Tomai mulheres e gerai filhos e filhas; também tomai mulheres para vossos filhos, e dai vossas filhas a maridos, para que tenham filhos e filhas; assim multiplicai-vos ali, e não vos diminuais.	Jeremiah 29:6 Take wives and have sons and daughters, and take wives for your sons, and give your daughters to husbands, so that they may have sons and daughters; and be increased in number there and do not become less.
Jeremias 29:7 E procurai a paz da cidade, para a qual fiz que fôsseis levados cativos, e orai por ela ao Senhor: porque na sua paz vós tereis paz.	Jeremiah 29:7 And be working for the peace of the land to which I have had you taken away prisoners, and make prayer to the Lord for it: for in its peace you will have peace.
Jeremias 29:8 Pois assim diz o Senhor dos exércitos, o Deus de Israel: Não vos enganem os vossos profetas que estão no meio de vós, nem os vossos adivinhadores; nem deis ouvidos aos vossos sonhos, que vós sonhais;	Jeremiah 29:8 For this is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel, has said: Do not let yourselves be tricked by the prophets who are among you, and the readers of signs, and give no attention to their dreams which they may have;
Jeremias 29:9 porque eles vos profetizam falsamente em meu nome; não os enviei, diz o Senhor.	Jeremiah 29:9 For they are saying to you what is false in my name: I have not sent them, says the Lord.
Jeremias 29:10 Porque assim diz o Senhor: Certamente que passados setenta anos em Babilônia, eu vos visitarei, e cumprirei sobre vós a minha boa palavra, tornando a trazer-vos a este lugar.	Jeremiah 29:10 For this is what the Lord has said: When seventy years are ended for Babylon, I will have pity on you and give effect to my good purpose for you, causing you to come back to this place.
Jeremias 29:11 Pois eu bem sei os planos que estou projetando para vós, diz o Senhor; planos de paz, e não de mal, para vos dar um futuro e uma esperança.	Jeremiah 29:11 For I am conscious of my thoughts about you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope at the end.
Jeremias 29:12 Então me invocareis, e ireis e orareis a mim, e eu vos ouvirei.	Jeremiah 29:12 And you will go on crying to me and making prayer to me, and I will give ear to you.
Jeremias 29:13 Buscar-me-eis, e me achareis, quando me buscardes de todo o vosso coração.	Jeremiah 29:13 And you will be searching for me and I will be there, when you have gone after me with all your heart.
Jeremias 29:14 E serei achado de vós, diz o Senhor, e farei voltar os vossos cativos, e congregarvos-ei de todas as nações, e de todos os lugares para onde vos lancei, diz o Senhor; e tornarei a trazer-vos ao lugar de onde vos transportei.	Jeremiah 29:14 I will be near you again, says the Lord, and your fate will be changed, and I will get you together from all the nations and from all the places where I had sent you away, says the Lord; and I will take you back again to the place from which I sent you away prisoners.
Jeremias 29:15 Porque dizeis: O Senhor nos levantou profetas em Babilônia;	Jeremiah 29:15 For you have said, The Lord has given us prophets in Babylon.
Jeremias 29:16 portanto assim diz o Senhor a respeito do rei que se assenta no trono de Davi, e de todo o povo que habita nesta cidade, vossos irmãos, que não saíram convosco para o cativeiro;	Jeremiah 29:16 For this is what the Lord has said about the king who is seated on the seat of David's kingdom, and about all the people living in this town, your countrymen who have not gone out with you as prisoners;
Jeremias 29:17 assim diz o Senhor dos exércitos: Eis que enviarei entre eles a espada, a fome e a peste e fá-los-ei como a figos péssimos, que não se podem comer, de ruins que são.	Jeremiah 29:17 This is what the Lord of armies has said: See, I will send on them the sword and need of food and disease, and will make them like bad figs, which are of no use for food, they are so bad.
Jeremias 29:18 E persegui-los-ei com a espada, com a fome e com a peste; farei que sejam um espetáculo de terror para todos os reinos da terra, e para serem um motivo de execração, de espanto, de assobio, e de opróbrio entre todas as nações para onde os tiver lançado,	Jeremiah 29:18 I will go after them, attacking them with the sword and with need of food and with disease, and will make them a cause of fear to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse and a wonder and a surprise and a name of shame among all the nations where I have sent them:
Jeremias 29:19 porque não deram ouvidos às minhas palavras, diz o Senhor, as quais lhes enviei com insistência pelos meus servos, os profetas; mas vós não escutastes, diz o Senhor.	Jeremiah 29:19 Because they have not given ear to my words, says the Lord, when I sent to them my servants the prophets, getting up early and sending them; but you did not give ear, says the Lord.
Jeremias 29:20 Ouvi, pois, a palavra do Senhor, vós todos os do cativeiro que enviei de Jerusalém para Babilônia.	Jeremiah 29:20 And now, give ear to the word of the Lord, all you whom I have sent away prisoners from Jerusalem to Babylon.
Jeremias 29:21 Assim diz o Senhor dos exércitos, o Deus de Israel, acerca de Acabe, filho de Colaías, e de Zedequias, filho de Maaséias, que vos profetizam falsamente em meu nome: Eis que os entregarei na mão de Nabucodonozor, rei de Babilônia, e ele os matará diante dos vossos olhos.	Jeremiah 29:21 This is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel, has said about Ahab, the son of Kolaiah, and about Zedekiah, the son of Maaseiah, who are saying to you what is false in my name: See, I will give them up into the hands of Nebuchadrezzar, king of Babylon, and he will put them to death before your eyes.
Jeremias 29:22 E por causa deles será formulada uma maldição por todos os exilados de Judá que estão em Babilônia, dizendo: O Senhor te faça como a Zedequias, e como a Acabe, os quais o rei de Babilônia assou no fogo;	Jeremiah 29:22 And their fate will be used as a curse by all the prisoners of Judah who are in Babylon, who will say, May the Lord make you like Zedekiah and like Ahab, who were burned in the fire by the king of Babylon;
Jeremias 29:23 porque fizeram insensatez em Israel, cometendo adultério com as mulheres de seus próximos, e anunciando falsamente em meu nome palavras que não lhes mandei. Eu o sei, e sou testemunha disso, diz o Senhor.	Jeremiah 29:23 Because they have done shame in Israel, and have taken their neighbours' wives, and in my name have said false words, which I did not give them orders to say; and I myself am the witness, says the Lord.
Jeremias 29:24 E a Semaías, o neelamita, falarás, dizendo:	Jeremiah 29:24 About Shemaiah the Nehelamite.
Jeremias 29:25 Assim diz o Senhor dos exércitos, o Deus de Israel: Porquanto enviaste em teu próprio nome cartas a todo o povo que está em Jerusalém, como também a Sofonias, filho de Maaséias, o sacerdote, e a todos os sacerdotes, dizendo:	Jeremiah 29:25 Shemaiah the Nehelamite sent a letter in his name to Zephaniah, the son of Maaseiah the priest, saying,
Jeremias 29:26 O Senhor te pôs por sacerdote em lugar de Jeoiada, o sacerdote, para que fosses encarregado da casa do Senhor, sobre todo homem obsesso que profetiza, para o lançares na prisão e no tronco;	Jeremiah 29:26 The Lord has made you priest in place of Jehoiada the priest, to be an overseer in the house of the Lord for every man who is off his head and is acting as a prophet, to put such men in prison and in chains.
Jeremias 29:27 agora, pois, por que não repreendeste a Jeremias, o anatotita, que vos profetiza?	Jeremiah 29:27 So why have you made no protest against Jeremiah of Anathoth, who is acting as a prophet to you?
Jeremias 29:28 Pois que até nos mandou dizer em Babilônia: O cativeiro muito há de durar; edificai casas, e habitai-as; e plantai jardins, e comei do seu fruto.	Jeremiah 29:28 For he has sent to us in Babylon saying, The time will be long: go on building houses and living in them, and planting gardens and using the fruit of them.
Jeremias 29:29 E lera Sofonias, o sacerdote, esta carta aos ouvidos de Jeremias, o profeta.	Jeremiah 29:29 And Zephaniah the priest made clear to Jeremiah the prophet what was said in the letter, reading it to him.
Jeremias 29:30 Então veio a palavra do Senhor a Jeremias, dizendo:	Jeremiah 29:30 Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the prophet, saying,
Jeremias 29:31 Manda a todos os do cativeiro, dizendo: Assim diz o Senhor acerca de Semaías, o neelamita: Porquanto Semaías vos profetizou, quando eu não o enviei, e vos fez confiar numa mentira,	Jeremiah 29:31 Send to all those who have been taken away, saying, This is what the Lord has said about Shemaiah the Nehelamite: Because Shemaiah has been acting as a prophet to you, and I did not send him, and has made you put your faith in what is false;
Jeremias 29:32 portanto assim diz o Senhor: Eis que castigarei a Semaías, o neelamita, e a sua descendência; ele não terá varão que habite entre este povo, nem verá ele o bem que hei de fazer ao meu povo, diz o Senhor, porque pregou rebelião contra o Senhor.	Jeremiah 29:32 For this cause the Lord has said, Truly I will send punishment on Shemaiah and on his seed; not a man of his family will have a place among this people, and he will not see the good which I am going to do to my people, says the Lord: because he has said words against the Lord.
