Romanos 3:1 Que vantagem, pois, tem o judeu? ou qual a utilidade da circuncisão?	Romans 3:1 How then is the Jew better off? or what profit is there in circumcision?
Romanos 3:2 Muita, em todo sentido; primeiramente, porque lhe foram confiados os oráculos de Deus.	Romans 3:2 Much in every way: first of all because the words of God were given to them.
Romanos 3:3 Pois quê? Se alguns foram infiéis, porventura a sua infidelidade anulará a fidelidade de Deus?	Romans 3:3 And if some have no faith, will that make the faith of God without effect?
Romanos 3:4 De modo nenhum; antes seja Deus verdadeiro, e todo homem mentiroso; como está escrito: Para que sejas justificado em tuas palavras, e venças quando fores julgado.	Romans 3:4 In no way: but let God be true, though every man is seen to be untrue; as it is said in the Writings, That your words may be seen to be true, and you may be seen to be right when you are judged.
Romanos 3:5 E, se a nossa injustiça prova a justiça de Deus, que diremos? Acaso Deus, que castiga com ira, é injusto?	Romans 3:5 But if the righteousness of God is supported by our wrongdoing what is to be said? is it wrong for God to be angry (as men may say)?
Romanos 3:6 De modo nenhum; do contrário, como julgará Deus o mundo?	Romans 3:6 In no way: because if it is so, how is God able to be the judge of all the world?
Romanos 3:7 Mas, se pela minha mentira abundou mais a verdade de Deus para sua glória, por que sou eu ainda julgado como pecador?	Romans 3:7 But if, because I am untrue, God being seen to be true gets more glory, why am I to be judged as a sinner?
Romanos 3:8 E por que não dizemos: Façamos o mal para que venha o bem? - como alguns caluniosamente afirmam que dizemos; a condenação dos quais é justa.	Romans 3:8 Let us not do evil so that good may come (a statement which we are falsely said by some to have made), because such behaviour will have its right punishment.
Romanos 3:9 Pois quê? Somos melhores do que eles? De maneira nenhuma, pois já demonstramos que, tanto judeus como gregos, todos estão debaixo do pecado;	Romans 3:9 What then? are we worse off than they? In no way: because we have before made it clear that Jews as well as Greeks are all under the power of sin;
Romanos 3:10 como está escrito: Não há justo, nem sequer um.	Romans 3:10 As it is said in the holy Writings, There is not one who does righteousness;
Romanos 3:11 Não há quem entenda; não há quem busque a Deus.	Romans 3:11 Not one who has the knowledge of what is right, not one who is a searcher after God;
Romanos 3:12 Todos se extraviaram; juntamente se fizeram inúteis. Não há quem faça o bem, não há nem um só.	Romans 3:12 They have all gone out of the way, there is no profit in any of them; there is not one who does good, not so much as one:
Romanos 3:13 A sua garganta é um sepulcro aberto; com as suas línguas tratam enganosamente; peçonha de áspides está debaixo dos seus lábios;	Romans 3:13 Their throat is like an open place of death; with their tongues they have said what is not true: the poison of snakes is under their lips:
Romanos 3:14 a sua boca está cheia de maldição e amargura.	Romans 3:14 Whose mouth is full of curses and bitter words:
Romanos 3:15 Os seus pés são ligeiros para derramar sangue.	Romans 3:15 Their feet are quick in running after blood;
Romanos 3:16 Nos seus caminhos há destruição e miséria;	Romans 3:16 Destruction and trouble are in their ways;
Romanos 3:17 e não conheceram o caminho da paz.	Romans 3:17 And of the way of peace they have no knowledge:
Romanos 3:18 Não há temor de Deus diante dos seus olhos.	Romans 3:18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.
Romanos 3:19 Ora, nós sabemos que tudo o que a lei diz, aos que estão debaixo da lei o diz, para que se cale toda boca e todo o mundo fique sujeito ao juízo de Deus;	Romans 3:19 Now, we have knowledge that what the law says is for those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be stopped, and all men may be judged by God:
Romanos 3:20 porquanto pelas obras da lei nenhum homem será justificado diante dele; pois o que vem pela lei é o pleno conhecimento do pecado.	Romans 3:20 Because by the works of the law no man is able to have righteousness in his eyes, for through the law comes the knowledge of sin.
Romanos 3:21 Mas agora, sem lei, tem-se manifestado a justiça de Deus, que é atestada pela lei e pelos profetas;	Romans 3:21 But now without the law there is a revelation of the righteousness of God, to which witness is given by the law and the prophets;
Romanos 3:22 isto é, a justiça de Deus pela fé em Jesus Cristo para todos os que crêem; pois não há distinção.	Romans 3:22 That is, the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ, to all those who have faith; and one man is not different from another,
Romanos 3:23 Porque todos pecaram e destituídos estão da glória de Deus;	Romans 3:23 For all have done wrong and are far from the glory of God;
Romanos 3:24 sendo justificados gratuitamente pela sua graça, mediante a redenção que há em Cristo Jesus,	Romans 3:24 And they may have righteousness put to their credit, freely, by his grace, through the salvation which is in Christ Jesus:
Romanos 3:25 ao qual Deus propôs como propiciação, pela fé, no seu sangue, para demonstração da sua justiça por ter ele na sua paciência, deixado de lado os delitos outrora cometidos;	Romans 3:25 Whom God has put forward as the sign of his mercy, through faith, by his blood, to make clear his righteousness when, in his pity, God let the sins of earlier times go without punishment;
Romanos 3:26 para demonstração da sua justiça neste tempo presente, para que ele seja justo e também justificador daquele que tem fé em Jesus.	Romans 3:26 And to make clear his righteousness now, so that he might himself be upright, and give righteousness to him who has faith in Jesus.
Romanos 3:27 Onde está logo a jactância? Foi excluída. Por que lei? Das obras? Não; mas pela lei da fé.	Romans 3:27 What reason, then, is there for pride? It is shut out. By what sort of law? of works? No, but by a law of faith.
Romanos 3:28 concluímos pois que o homem é justificado pela fé sem as obras da lei.	Romans 3:28 For this reason, then, a man may get righteousness by faith without the works of the law.
Romanos 3:29 É porventura Deus somente dos judeus? Não é também dos gentios? Também dos gentios, certamente,	Romans 3:29 Or is God the God of Jews only? is he not in the same way the God of Gentiles? Yes, of Gentiles:
Romanos 3:30 se é que Deus é um só, que pela fé há de justificar a circuncisão, e também por meio da fé a incircuncisão.	Romans 3:30 If God is one; and he will give righteousness because of faith to those who have circumcision, and through faith to those who have not circumcision.
Romanos 3:31 Anulamos, pois, a lei pela fé? De modo nenhum; antes estabelecemos a lei.	Romans 3:31 Do we, then, through faith make the law of no effect? in no way: but we make it clear that the law is important.
