| Bem-aventurados os que trilham com integridade o seu caminho, os que andam na lei do Senhor! | ALEPH Happy are they who are without sin in their ways, walking in the law of the Lord. |
| Bem-aventurados os que guardam os seus testemunhos, que o buscam de todo o coração, | Happy are they who keep his unchanging word, searching after him with all their heart. |
| que não praticam iniqüidade, mas andam nos caminhos dele! | They do no evil; they go in his ways. |
| Tu ordenaste os teus preceitos, para que fossem diligentemente observados. | You have put your orders into our hearts, so that we might keep them with care. |
| Oxalá sejam os meus caminhos dirigidos de maneira que eu observe os teus estatutos! | If only my ways were ordered so that I might keep your rules! |
| Então não ficarei confundido, atentando para todos os teus mandamentos. | Then I would not be put to shame, as long as I have respect for all your teaching. |
| Louvar-te-ei com retidão de coração, quando tiver aprendido as tuas retas ordenanças. | I will give you praise with an upright heart in learning your right decisions. |
| Observarei os teus estatutos; não me desampares totalmente! | I will keep your rules: O give me not up completely. |
| Como purificará o jovem o seu caminho? Observando-o de acordo com a tua palavra. | BETH How may a young man make his way clean? by guiding it after your word. |
| De todo o meu coração tenho te buscado; não me deixes desviar dos teus mandamentos. | I have made search for you with all my heart: O let me not go wandering far from your teaching. |
| Escondi a tua palavra no meu coração, para não pecar contra ti. | I have kept your sayings secretly in my heart, so that I might do no sin against you. |
| Bendito és tu, ó Senhor; ensina-me os teus estatutos. | Praise be to you, O Lord: give me knowledge of your rules. |
| Com os meus lábios declaro todas as ordenanças da tua boca. | With my lips have I made clear all the decisions of your mouth. |
| Regozijo-me no caminho dos teus testemunhos, tanto como em todas as riquezas. | I have taken as much delight in the way of your unchanging word, as in all wealth. |
| Em teus preceitos medito, e observo os teus caminhos. | I will give thought to your orders, and have respect for your ways. |
| Deleitar-me-ei nos teus estatutos; não me esquecerei da tua palavra. | I will have delight in your rules; I will not let your word go out of my mind. |
| Faze bem ao teu servo, para que eu viva; assim observarei a tua palavra. | GIMEL Give me, your servant, the reward of life, so that I may keep your word; |
| Desvenda os meus olhos, para que eu veja as maravilhas da tua lei. | Let my eyes be open to see the wonders of your law. |
| Sou peregrino na terra; não escondas de mim os teus mandamentos. | I am living in a strange land: do not let your teachings be kept secret from me. |
| A minha alma se consome de anelos por tuas ordenanças em todo o tempo. | My soul is broken with desire for your decisions at all times. |
| Tu repreendeste os soberbos, os malditos, que se desviam dos teus mandamentos. | Your hand has been against the men of pride, a curse is on those who go wandering out of your way. |
| Tira de sobre mim o opróbrio e o desprezo, pois tenho guardado os teus testemunhos. | Take away from me shame and bitter words; for I have kept your unchanging word in my heart. |
| Príncipes sentaram-se e falavam contra mim, mas o teu servo meditava nos teus estatutos. | Rulers make evil designs against me; but your servant gives thought to your rules. |
| Os teus testemunhos são o meu prazer e os meus conselheiros. | Your unchanging word is my delight, and the guide of my footsteps. |
| A minha alma apega-se ao pó; vivifica-me segundo a tua palavra. | DALETH My soul is joined to the dust: O give me life, in keeping with your word. |
| Meus caminhos te descrevi, e tu me ouviste; ensina-me os teus estatutos. | I put the record of my ways before you, and you gave me an answer: O give me knowledge of your rules. |
| Faze-me entender o caminho dos teus preceitos; assim meditarei nas tuas maravilhas. | Make the way of your orders clear to me; then my thoughts will be ever on your wonders. |
| A minha alma se consome de tristeza; fortalece-me segundo a tua palavra. | My soul is wasted with sorrow; give me strength again in keeping with your word |
| Desvia de mim o caminho da falsidade, e ensina-me benignidade a tua lei. | Take from me every false way; and in mercy give me your law. |
| Escolhi o caminho da fidelidade; diante de mim pus as tuas ordenanças. | I have taken the way of faith: I have kept your decisions before me. |
| Apego-me aos teus testemunhos, ó Senhor; não seja eu envergonhado. | I have been true to your unchanging word; O Lord, do not put me to shame. |
| Percorrerei o caminho dos teus mandamentos, quando dilatares o meu coração. | I will go quickly in the way of your teaching, because you have given me a free heart. |
| Ensina-me, ó Senhor, o caminho dos teus estatutos, e eu o guardarei até o fim. | HE O Lord, let me see the way of your rules, and I will keep it to the end. |
| Dá-me entendimento, para que eu guarde a tua lei, e a observe de todo o meu coração. | Give me wisdom, so that I may keep your law; going after it with all my heart. |
| Faze-me andar na vereda dos teus mandamentos, porque nela me comprazo. | Make me go in the way of your teachings; for they are my delight. |
| Inclina o meu coração para os teus testemunhos, e não para a cobiça. | Let my heart be turned to your unchanging word, and not to evil desire. |
| Desvia os meus olhos de contemplarem a vaidade, e vivifica-me no teu caminho. | Let my eyes be turned away from what is false; give me life in your ways. |
| Confirma a tua promessa ao teu servo, que se inclina ao teu temor. | Give effect to your word to your servant, in whose heart is the fear of you. |
| Desvia de mim o opróbrio que temo, pois as tuas ordenanças são boas. | Take away the shame which is my fear; for your decisions are good. |
| Eis que tenho anelado os teus preceitos; vivifica-me por tua justiça. | See how great is my desire for your orders: give me life in your righteousness. |
| Venha também sobre mim a tua benignidade, ó Senhor, e a tua salvação, segundo a tua palavra. | VAU Let your mercies come to me, O Lord, even your salvation, as you have said. |
| Assim terei o que responder ao que me afronta, pois confio na tua palavra. | So that I may have an answer for the man who would put me to shame; for I have faith in your word. |
| De minha boca não tires totalmente a palavra da verdade, pois tenho esperado nos teus juízos. | Take not your true word quite out of my mouth; for I have put my hope in your decisions. |
| Assim observarei de contínuo a tua lei, para sempre e eternamente; | So that I may keep your law for ever and ever; |
| e andarei em liberdade, pois tenho buscado os teus preceitos. | So that my way may be in a wide place: because my search has been for your orders. |
| Falarei dos teus testemunhos perante os reis, e não me envergonharei. | So that I may give knowledge of your unchanging word before kings, and not be put to shame. |
| Deleitar-me-ei em teus mandamentos, que eu amo. | And so that I may take delight in your teachings, to which I have given my love. |
| Também levantarei as minhas mãos para os teus mandamentos, que amo, e meditarei nos teus estatutos. | And so that my hands may be stretched out to you; and I will give thought to your rules. |
| Lembra-te da palavra dada ao teu servo, na qual me fizeste esperar. | ZAIN Keep in mind your word to your servant, for on it has my hope been fixed. |
| Isto é a minha consolação na minha angústia, que a tua promessa me vivifica. | This is my comfort in my trouble; that your sayings have given me life. |
| Os soberbos zombaram grandemente de mim; contudo não me desviei da tua lei. | The men of pride have made great sport of me; but I have not been turned from your law. |
| Lembro-me dos teus juízos antigos, ó Senhor, e assim me consolo. | I have kept the memory of your decisions from times past, O Lord; and they have been my comfort. |
| Grande indignação apoderou-se de mim, por causa dos ímpios que abandonam a tua lei. | I am burning with wrath, because of the sinners who have given up your law. |
| Os teus estatutos têm sido os meus cânticos na casa da minha peregrinação. | Your rules have been melodies to me, while I have been living in strange lands. |
| De noite me lembrei do teu nome, ó Senhor, e observei a tua lei. | I have given thought to your name in the night, O Lord, and have kept your law. |
| Isto me sucedeu, porque tenho guardado os teus preceitos. | This has been true of me, that I have kept your orders in my heart. |
| O Senhor é o meu quinhão; prometo observar as tuas palavras. | CHETH The Lord is my heritage: I have said that I would be ruled by your words. |
| De todo o meu coração imploro o teu favor; tem piedade de mim, segundo a tua palavra. | I have given my mind to do your pleasure with all my heart; have mercy on me, as you have said. |
| Quando considero os meus caminhos, volto os meus pés para os teus testemunhos. | I gave thought to my steps, and my feet were turned into the way of your unchanging word. |
| Apresso-me sem detença a observar os teus mandamentos. | I was quick to do your orders, and let no time be wasted. |
| Enleiam-me os laços dos ímpios; mas eu não me esqueço da tua lei. | The cords of evil-doers are round me; but I have kept in mind your law. |
| Â meia-noite me levanto para dar-te graças, por causa dos teus retos juízos. | In the middle of the night I will get up to give you praise, because of all your right decisions. |
| Companheiro sou de todos os que te temem, e dos que guardam os teus preceitos. | I keep company with all your worshippers, and those who have your orders in their memory. |
| A terra, ó Senhor, está cheia da tua benignidade; ensina-me os teus estatutos. | The earth, O Lord, is full of your mercy: give me knowledge of your rules. |
| Tens usado de bondade para com o teu servo, Senhor, segundo a tua palavra. | TETH You have done good to your servant, O Lord, in keeping with your word. |
| Ensina-me bom juízo e ciência, pois creio nos teus mandamentos. | Give me knowledge and good sense; for I have put my faith in your teachings. |
| Antes de ser afligido, eu me extraviava; mas agora guardo a tua palavra. | Before I was in trouble I went out of the way; but now I keep your word. |
| Tu és bom e fazes o bem; ensina-me os teus estatutos. | You are good, and your works are good; give me knowledge of your rules. |
| Os soberbos forjam mentiras contra mim; mas eu de todo o coração guardo os teus preceitos. | The men of pride have said false things about me; but I will keep your orders in my heart. |
| Torna-se-lhes insensível o coração como a gordura; mas eu me deleito na tua lei. | Their hearts are shut up with fat; but my delight is in your law. |
| Foi-me bom ter sido afligido, para que aprendesse os teus estatutos. | It is good for me to have been through trouble; so that I might come to the knowledge of your rules. |
| Melhor é para mim a lei da tua boca do que milhares de ouro e prata. | The law of your mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver. |
| As tuas mãos me fizeram e me formaram; dá-me entendimento para que aprenda os teus mandamentos. | JOD Your hands have made me, and given me form: give me wisdom, so that I may have knowledge of your teaching. |
| Os que te temem me verão e se alegrarão, porque tenho esperado na tua palavra. | Your worshippers will see me and be glad; because my hope has been in your word. |
| Bem sei eu, ó Senhor, que os teus juízos são retos, e que em tua fidelidade me afligiste. | I have seen, O Lord, that your decisions are right, and that in unchanging faith you have sent trouble on me. |
| Sirva, pois, a tua benignidade para me consolar, segundo a palavra que deste ao teu servo. | Let your mercy now be my comfort, as you have said to your servant. |
| Venham sobre mim as tuas ternas misericórdias, para que eu viva, pois a tua lei é o meu deleite. | Let your gentle mercies come to me, so that I may have life; for your law is my delight. |
| Envergonhados sejam os soberbos, por me haverem subvertido sem causa; mas eu meditarei nos teus preceitos. | Let the men of pride be shamed; because they have falsely given decision against me; but I will give thought to your orders. |
| Voltem-se para mim os que te temem, para que conheçam os teus testemunhos. | Let your worshippers be turned to me, and those who have knowledge of your words. |
| Seja perfeito o meu coração nos teus estatutos, para que eu não seja envergonhado. | Let all my heart be given to your orders, so that I may not be put to shame. |
| Desfalece a minha alma, aguardando a tua salvação; espero na tua palavra. | CAPH My soul is wasted with desire for your salvation: but I have hope in your word. |
| Os meus olhos desfalecem, esperando por tua promessa, enquanto eu pergunto: Quando me consolarás tu? | My eyes are full of weariness with searching for your word, saying, When will you give me comfort? |
| Pois tornei-me como odre na fumaça, mas não me esqueci dos teus estatutos. | For I have become like a wine-skin black with smoke; but I still keep the memory of your rules. |
| Quantos serão os dias do teu servo? Até quando não julgarás aqueles que me perseguem? | How short is the life of your servant! when will you give your decision against those who are attacking me? |
| Abriram covas para mim os soberbos, que não andam segundo a tua lei. | The men of pride, who are turned away from your law, have put nets for me. |
| Todos os teus mandamentos são fiéis. Sou perseguido injustamente; ajuda-me! | All your teachings are certain; they go after me with evil design; give me your help. |
| Quase que me consumiram sobre a terra, mas eu não deixei os teus preceitos. | They had almost put an end to me on earth; but I did not give up your orders. |
| Vivifica-me segundo a tua benignidade, para que eu guarde os testemunhos da tua boca. | Give me life in your mercy; so that I may be ruled by the unchanging word of your mouth. |
| Para sempre, ó Senhor, a tua palavra está firmada nos céus. | LAMED For ever, O Lord, your word is fixed in heaven. |
| A tua fidelidade estende-se de geração a geração; tu firmaste a terra, e firme permanece. | Your faith is unchanging from generation to generation: you have put the earth in its place, and it is not moved. |
| Conforme a tua ordenança, tudo se mantém até hoje, porque todas as coisas te obedecem. | They are ruled this day by your decisions; for all things are your servants. |
| Se a tua lei não fora o meu deleite, então eu teria perecido na minha angústia. | If your law had not been my delight, my troubles would have put an end to me. |
| Nunca me esquecerei dos teus preceitos, pois por eles me tens vivificado. | I will ever keep your orders in mind; for in them I have life. |
| Sou teu, salva-me; pois tenho buscado os teus preceitos. | I am yours, O be my saviour; for my desire has been for your rules. |
| Os ímpios me espreitam para me destruírem, mas eu atento para os teus testemunhos. | The sinners have been waiting for me to give me up to destruction; but I will give all my mind to your unchanging ward. |
| A toda perfeição vi limite, mas o teu mandamento é ilimitado. | I have seen that nothing on earth is complete; but your teaching is very wide. |
| Oh! quanto amo a tua lei! ela é a minha meditação o dia todo. | MEM O what love I have for your law! I give thought to it all the day. |
| O teu mandamento me faz mais sábio do que meus inimigos, pois está sempre comigo. | Your teaching has made me wiser than my haters: for it is mine for ever. |
| Tenho mais entendimento do que todos os meus mestres, porque os teus testemunhos são a minha meditação. | I have more knowledge than all my teachers, because I give thought to your unchanging word. |
| Sou mais entendido do que os velhos, porque tenho guardado os teus preceitos. | I have more wisdom than the old, because I have kept your orders. |
| Retenho os meus pés de todo caminho mau, a fim de observar a tua palavra. | I have kept back my feet from all evil ways, so that I might be true to your word. |
| Não me aperto das tuas ordenanças, porque és tu quem me instrui. | My heart has not been turned away from your decisions; for you have been my teacher. |
| Oh! quão doces são as tuas palavras ao meu paladar! mais doces do que o mel à minha boca. | How sweet are your sayings to my taste! truly, they are sweeter than honey in my mouth! |
| Pelos teus preceitos alcanço entendimento, pelo que aborreço toda vereda de falsidade. | Through your orders I get wisdom; for this reason I am a hater of every false way. |
| Lâmpada para os meus pés é a tua palavra, e luz para o meu caminho. | NUN Your word is a light for my feet, ever shining on my way. |
| Fiz juramento, e o confirmei, de guardar as tuas justas ordenanças. | I have made an oath and kept it, to be guided by your upright decisions. |
| Estou aflitíssimo; vivifica-me, ó Senhor, segundo a tua palavra. | I am greatly troubled, O Lord, give me life in keeping with your word. |
| Aceita, Senhor, eu te rogo, as oferendas voluntárias da minha boca, e ensina-me as tuas ordenanças. | Take, O Lord, the free offerings of my mouth, and give me knowledge of your decisions. |
| Estou continuamente em perigo de vida; todavia não me esqueço da tua lei. | My soul is ever in danger; but I still keep the memory of your law. |
| Os ímpios me armaram laço, contudo não me desviei dos teus preceitos. | Sinners have put a net to take me; but I was true to your orders. |
| Os teus testemunhos são a minha herança para sempre, pois são eles o gozo do meu coração. | I have taken your unchanging word as an eternal heritage; for it is the joy of my heart. |
| Inclino o meu coração a cumprir os teus estatutos, para sempre, até o fim. | My heart is ever ready to keep your rules, even to the end. |
| Aborreço a duplicidade, mas amo a tua lei. | SAMECH I am a hater of men of doubting mind; but I am a lover of your law. |
| Tu és o meu refúgio e o meu escudo; espero na tua palavra. | You are my secret place and my breastplate against danger; my hope is in your word. |
| Apartai-vos de mim, malfeitores, para que eu guarde os mandamentos do meu Deus. | Go far from me, you evil-doers; so that I may keep the teachings of my God. |
| Ampara-me conforme a tua palavra, para que eu viva; e não permitas que eu seja envergonhado na minha esperança. | Be my support as you have said, and give me life; let not my hope be turned to shame. |
| Sustenta-me, e serei salvo, e de contínuo terei respeito aos teus estatutos. | Let me not be moved, and I will be safe, and ever take delight in your rules. |
| Desprezas todos os que se desviam dos teus estatutos, pois a astúcia deles é falsidade. | You have overcome all those who are wandering from your rules; for all their thoughts are false. |
| Deitas fora, como escória, todos os ímpios da terra; pelo que amo os teus testemunhos. | All the sinners of the earth are like waste metal in your eyes; and for this cause I give my love to your unchanging word. |
| Arrepia-se-me a carne com temor de ti, e tenho medo dos teus juízos. | My flesh is moved for fear of you; I give honour to your decisions. |
| Tenho praticado a retidão e a justiça; não me abandones aos meus opressores. | AIN I have done what is good and right: you will not give me into the hands of those who are working against me. |
| Fica por fiador do teu servo para o bem; não me oprimem os soberbos. | Take your servant's interests into your keeping; let me not be crushed by the men of pride. |
| Os meus olhos desfalecem à espera da tua salvação e da promessa da tua justiça. | My eyes are wasted with desire for your salvation, and for the word of your righteousness. |
| Trata com o teu servo segundo a tua benignidade, e ensina-me os teus estatutos. | Be good to your servant in your mercy, and give me teaching in your rules. |
| Sou teu servo; dá-me entendimento, para que eu conheça os teus testemunhos. | I am your servant; give me wisdom, so that I may have knowledge of your unchanging word. |
| É tempo de agires, ó Senhor, pois eles violaram a tua lei. | It is time, O Lord, for you to let your work be seen; for they have made your law without effect. |
| Pelo que amo os teus mandamentos mais do que o ouro, sim, mais do que o ouro fino. | For this reason I have greater love far your teachings than for gold, even for shining gold. |
| Por isso dirijo os meus passos por todos os teus preceitos, e aborreço toda vereda de falsidade. | Because of it I keep straight in all things by your orders; and I am a hater of every false way. |
| Maravilhosos são os teus testemunhos, por isso a minha alma os guarda. | PE Your unchanging word is full of wonder; for this reason my soul keeps it. |
| A exposição das tuas palavras dá luz; dá entendimento aos simples. | The opening of your words gives light; it gives good sense to the simple. |
| Abro a minha boca e arquejo, pois estou anelante pelos teus mandamentos. | My mouth was open wide, waiting with great desire for your teachings. |
| Volta-te para mim, e compadece-te de mim, conforme usas para com os que amam o teu nome. | Let your eyes be turned to me, and have mercy on me, as it is right for you to do to those who are lovers of your name. |
| Firma os meus passos na tua palavra; e não se apodere de mim iniqüidade alguma. | Let my steps be guided by your word; and let not sin have control over me. |
| Resgata-me da opressão do homem; assim guardarei os teus preceitos. | Make me free from the cruel rule of man; then I will keep your orders. |
| Faze resplandecer o teu rosto sobre o teu servo, e ensina-me os teus estatutos. | Let your servant see the shining of your face; give me knowledge of your rules. |
| Os meus olhos derramam rios de lágrimas, porque os homens não guardam a tua lei. | Rivers of water are flowing from my eyes, because men do not keep your law. |
| Justo és, ó Senhor, e retos são os teus juízos. | TZADE O Lord, great is your righteousness, and upright are your decisions. |
| Ordenaste os teus testemunhos com retidão, e com toda a fidelidade. | You have given your unchanging word in righteousness, and it is for ever. |
| O meu zelo me consome, porque os meus inimigos se esquecem da tua palavra. | My passion has overcome me; because my haters are turned away from your words. |
| A tua palavra é fiel a toda prova, por isso o teu servo a ama. | Your word is of tested value; and it is dear to your servant. |
| Pequeno sou e desprezado, mas não me esqueço dos teus preceitos. | I am small and of no account; but I keep your orders in mind. |
| A tua justiça é justiça eterna, e a tua lei é a verdade. | Your righteousness is an unchanging righteousness, and your law is certain. |
| Tribulação e angústia se apoderaram de mim; mas os teus mandamentos são o meu prazer. | Pain and trouble have overcome me: but your teachings are my delight. |
| Justos são os teus testemunhos para sempre; dá-me entendimento, para que eu viva. | The righteousness of your unchanging word is eternal; give me wisdom so that I may have life. |
| Clamo de todo o meu coração; atende-me, Senhor! Eu guardarei os teus estatutos. | KOPH I have made my prayer with all my heart; give answer to me, O Lord: I will keep your rules. |
| A ti clamo; salva-me, para que guarde os teus testemunhos. | My cry has gone up to you; take me out of trouble, and I will be guided by your unchanging word. |
| Antecipo-me à alva da manhã e clamo; aguardo com esperança as tuas palavras. | Before the sun is up, my cry for help comes to your ear; my hope is in your words. |
| Os meus olhos se antecipam às vigílias da noite, para que eu medite na tua palavra. | In the night watches I am awake, so that I may give thought to your saying. |
| Ouve a minha voz, segundo a tua benignidade; vivifica-me, ó Senhor, segundo a tua justiça. | Let my voice come to you, in your mercy; O Lord, by your decisions give me life. |
| Aproximam-se os que me perseguem maliciosamente; andam afastados da tua lei. | Those who have evil designs against me come near; they are far from your law. |
| Tu estás perto, Senhor, e todos os teus mandamentos são verdade. | You are near, O Lord; and all your teachings are true. |
| Há muito sei eu dos teus testemunhos que os fundaste para sempre. | I have long had knowledge that your unchanging word is for ever. |
| Olha para a minha aflição, e livra-me, pois não me esqueço da tua lei. | RESH O see my trouble, and be my saviour; for I keep your law in my mind, |
| Pleiteia a minha causa, e resgata-me; vivifica-me segundo a tua palavra. | Undertake my cause, and come to my help, give me life, as you have said. |
| A salvação está longe dos ímpios, pois não buscam os teus estatutos. | Salvation is far from evil-doers; for they have made no search for your rules. |
| Muitas são, Senhor, as tuas misericórdias; vivifica-me segundo os teus juízos. | Great is the number of your mercies, O Lord; give me life in keeping with your decisions. |
| Muitos são os meus perseguidores e os meus adversários, mas não me desvio dos teus testemunhos. | Great is the number of those who are against me; but I have not been turned away from your unchanging word. |
| Vi os pérfidos, e me afligi, porque não guardam a tua palavra. | I saw with hate those who were untrue to you; for they did not keep your saying. |
| Considera como amo os teus preceitos; vivifica-me, Senhor, segundo a tua benignidade. | See how great is my love for your orders: give me life, O Lord, in keeping with your mercy. |
| A soma da tua palavra é a verdade, e cada uma das tuas justas ordenanças dura para sempre. | Your word is true from the first; and your upright decision is unchanging for ever. |
| Príncipes me perseguem sem causa, mas o meu coração teme as tuas palavras. | SHIN Rulers have been cruel to me without cause; but I have the fear of your word in my heart. |
| Regozijo-me com a tua palavra, como quem acha grande despojo. | I am delighted by your saying, like a man who makes discovery of great wealth. |
| Odeio e abomino a falsidade; amo, porém, a tua lei. | I am full of hate and disgust for false words; but I am a lover of your law. |
| Sete vezes no dia te louvo pelas tuas justas ordenanças. | Seven times a day do I give you praise, because of your upright decisions. |
| Muita paz têm os que amam a tua lei, e não há nada que os faça tropeçar. | Great peace have lovers of your law; they have no cause for falling. |
