Иеремия 5	Jeremiah 5
Иеремия 5:1 ^ Походите по улицам Иерусалима, и посмотрите, и разведайте, и поищите на площадях его, не найдете ли человека, нет ли соблюдающего правду, ищущего истины? Я пощадил бы [Иерусалим].	Jeremiah 5:1 ^ Go quickly through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and get knowledge, and make a search in her wide places if there is a man, if there is one in her who is upright, who keeps faith; and she will have my forgiveness.
Иеремия 5:2 ^ Хотя и говорят они: `жив Господь!`, но клянутся ложно.	Jeremiah 5:2 ^ And though they say, By the living Lord; truly their oaths are false.
Иеремия 5:3 ^ О, Господи! очи Твои не к истине ли [обращены]? Ты поражаешь их, а они не чувствуют боли; Ты истребляешь их, а они не хотят принять вразумления; лица свои сделали они крепче камня, не хотят обратиться.	Jeremiah 5:3 ^ O Lord, do not your eyes see good faith? you have given them punishment, but they were not troubled; you have sent destruction on them, but they did not take your teaching to heart: they have made their faces harder than a rock; they would not come back.
Иеремия 5:4 ^ И сказал я [сам в себе]: это, может быть, бедняки; они глупы, потому что не знают пути Господня, закона Бога своего;	Jeremiah 5:4 ^ Then I said, But these are the poor: they are foolish, for they have no knowledge of the way of the Lord or of the behaviour desired by their God.
Иеремия 5:5 ^ пойду я к знатным и поговорю с ними, ибо они знают путь Господень, закон Бога своего. Но и они все сокрушили ярмо, расторгли узы.	Jeremiah 5:5 ^ I will go to the great men and have talk with them; for they have knowledge of the way of the Lord and of the behaviour desired by their God. But as for these, their one purpose is a broken yoke and burst bands.
Иеремия 5:6 ^ За то поразит их лев из леса, волк пустынный опустошит их, барс будет подстерегать у городов их: кто выйдет из них, будет растерзан; ибо умножились преступления их, усилились отступничества их.	Jeremiah 5:6 ^ And so a lion from the woods will put them to death, a wolf of the waste land will make them waste, a leopard will keep watch on their towns, and everyone who goes out from them will be food for the beasts; because of the great number of their sins and the increase of their wrongdoing.
Иеремия 5:7 ^ Как же Мне простить тебя за это? Сыновья твои оставили Меня и клянутся теми, которые не боги. Я насыщал их, а они прелюбодействовали и толпами ходили в домы блудниц.	Jeremiah 5:7 ^ How is it possible for you to have my forgiveness for this? your children have given me up, taking their oaths by those who are no gods: when I had given them food in full measure, they were false to their wives, taking their pleasure in the houses of loose women.
Иеремия 5:8 ^ Это откормленные кони: каждый из них ржет на жену другого.	Jeremiah 5:8 ^ They were full of desire, like horses after a meal of grain: everyone went after his neighbour's wife.
Иеремия 5:9 ^ Неужели Я не накажу за это? говорит Господь; и не отмстит ли душа Моя такому народу, как этот?	Jeremiah 5:9 ^ Am I not to give punishment for these things? says the Lord: will not my soul take payment from such a nation as this?
Иеремия 5:10 ^ Восходите на стены его и разрушайте, но не до конца; уничтожьте зубцы их, потому что они не Господни;	Jeremiah 5:10 ^ Go up against her vines and make waste; let the destruction be complete: take away her branches, for they are not the Lord's.
Иеремия 5:11 ^ ибо дом Израилев и дом Иудин поступили со Мною очень вероломно, говорит Господь:	Jeremiah 5:11 ^ For the people of Israel and the people of Judah have been very false to me, says the Lord.
Иеремия 5:12 ^ они солгали на Господа и сказали: `нет Его, и беда не придет на нас, и мы не увидим ни меча, ни голода.	Jeremiah 5:12 ^ They would have nothing to do with the Lord, saying, He will do nothing, and no evil will come to us; we will not see the sword or be short of food:
Иеремия 5:13 ^ И пророки станут ветром, и слова [Господня] нет в них; над ними самими пусть это будет`.	Jeremiah 5:13 ^ And the prophets will become wind, and the word is not in them; so it will be done to them.
Иеремия 5:14 ^ Посему так говорит Господь Бог Саваоф: за то, что вы говорите такие слова, вот, Я сделаю слова Мои в устах твоих огнем, а этот народ--дровами, и этот [огонь] пожрет их.	Jeremiah 5:14 ^ For this reason the Lord, the God of armies, has said: Because you have said this, I will make my words in your mouth a fire, and this people wood, and they will be burned up by it.
Иеремия 5:15 ^ Вот, Я приведу на вас, дом Израилев, народ издалека, говорит Господь, народ сильный, народ древний, народ, которого языка ты не знаешь, и не будешь понимать, что он говорит.	Jeremiah 5:15 ^ See, I will send you a nation from far away, O people of Israel, says the Lord; a strong nation and an old nation, a nation whose language is strange to you, so that you may not get the sense of their words.
Иеремия 5:16 ^ Колчан его--как открытый гроб; все они люди храбрые.	Jeremiah 5:16 ^ Their arrows give certain death, they are all men of war.
Иеремия 5:17 ^ И съедят они жатву твою и хлеб твой, съедят сыновей твоих и дочерей твоих, съедят овец твоих и волов твоих, съедят виноград твой и смоквы твои; разрушат мечом укрепленные города твои, на которые ты надеешься.	Jeremiah 5:17 ^ They will take all the produce of your fields, which would have been food for your sons and your daughters: they will take your flocks and your herds: they will take all your vines and your fig-trees: and with the sword they will make waste your walled towns in which you put your faith.
Иеремия 5:18 ^ Но и в те дни, говорит Господь, не истреблю вас до конца.	Jeremiah 5:18 ^ But even in those days, says the Lord, I will not let your destruction be complete.
Иеремия 5:19 ^ И если вы скажете: `за что Господь, Бог наш, делает нам все это?`, то отвечай: так как вы оставили Меня и служили чужим богам в земле своей, то будете служить чужим в земле не вашей.	Jeremiah 5:19 ^ And it will come about, when you say, Why has the Lord our God done all these things to us? that you will say to them, As you gave me up, making yourselves servants to strange gods in your land, so will you be servants to strange men in a land which is not yours.
Иеремия 5:20 ^ Объявите это в доме Иакова и возвестите в Иудее, говоря:	Jeremiah 5:20 ^ Say this openly in Jacob and give it out in Judah, saying,
Иеремия 5:21 ^ выслушай это, народ глупый и неразумный, у которого есть глаза, а не видит, у которого есть уши, а не слышит:	Jeremiah 5:21 ^ Give ear now to this, O foolish people without sense; who have eyes but see nothing, and ears without the power of hearing:
Иеремия 5:22 ^ Меня ли вы не боитесь, говорит Господь, предо Мною ли не трепещете? Я положил песок границею морю, вечным пределом, которого не перейдет; и хотя волны его устремляются, но превозмочь не могут; хотя они бушуют, но переступить его не могут.	Jeremiah 5:22 ^ Have you no fear of me? says the Lord; will you not be shaking with fear before me, who have put the sand as a limit for the sea, by an eternal order, so that it may not go past it? and though it is ever in motion, it is not able to have its way; though the sound of its waves is loud, they are not able to go past it.
Иеремия 5:23 ^ А у народа сего сердце буйное и мятежное; они отступили и пошли;	Jeremiah 5:23 ^ But the heart of this people is uncontrolled and turned away from me; they are broken loose and gone.
Иеремия 5:24 ^ и не сказали в сердце своем: `убоимся Господа Бога нашего, Который дает нам дождь ранний и поздний в свое время, хранит для нас седмицы, назначенные для жатвы`.	Jeremiah 5:24 ^ And they do not say in their hearts, Now let us give worship to our God, who gives the rain, the winter and the spring rain, at the right time; who keeps for us the ordered weeks of the grain-cutting.
Иеремия 5:25 ^ Беззакония ваши отвратили это, и грехи ваши удалили от вас это доброе.	Jeremiah 5:25 ^ Through your evil-doing these things have been turned away, and your sins have kept back good from you.
Иеремия 5:26 ^ Ибо между народом Моим находятся нечестивые: сторожат, как птицеловы, припадают к земле, ставят ловушки и уловляют людей.	Jeremiah 5:26 ^ For there are sinners among my people: they keep watch, like men watching for birds; they put a net and take men in it.
Иеремия 5:27 ^ Как клетка, наполненная птицами, домы их полны обмана; чрез это они и возвысились и разбогатели,	Jeremiah 5:27 ^ As the fowl-house is full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit: for this reason they have become great and have got wealth.
Иеремия 5:28 ^ сделались тучны, жирны, переступили даже всякую меру во зле, не разбирают судебных дел, дел сирот; благоденствуют, и справедливому делу нищих не дают суда.	Jeremiah 5:28 ^ They have become fat and strong: they have gone far in works of evil: they give no support to the cause of the child without a father, so that they may do well; they do not see that the poor man gets his rights.
Иеремия 5:29 ^ Неужели Я не накажу за это? говорит Господь; и не отмстит ли душа Моя такому народу, как этот?	Jeremiah 5:29 ^ Am I not to give punishment for these things? says the Lord: will not my soul take payment from such a nation as this?
Иеремия 5:30 ^ Изумительное и ужасное совершается в сей земле:	Jeremiah 5:30 ^ A thing of wonder and fear has come about in the land;
Иеремия 5:31 ^ пророки пророчествуют ложь, и священники господствуют при посредстве их, и народ Мой любит это. Что же вы будете делать после всего этого?	Jeremiah 5:31 ^ The prophets give false words and the priests give decisions by their direction; and my people are glad to have it so: and what will you do in the end?
