Иов 31	Job 31
Иов 31:1 ^ Завет положил я с глазами моими, чтобы не помышлять мне о девице.	Job 31:1 ^ I made an agreement with my eyes; how then might my eyes be looking on a virgin?
Иов 31:2 ^ Какая же участь [мне] от Бога свыше? И какое наследие от Вседержителя с небес?	Job 31:2 ^ For what is God's reward from on high, or the heritage given by the Ruler of all from heaven?
Иов 31:3 ^ Не для нечестивого ли гибель, и не для делающего ли зло напасть?	Job 31:3 ^ Is it not trouble for the sinner, and destruction for the evil-doers?
Иов 31:4 ^ Не видел ли Он путей моих, и не считал ли всех моих шагов?	Job 31:4 ^ Does he not see my ways, and are not my steps all numbered?
Иов 31:5 ^ Если я ходил в суете, и если нога моя спешила на лукавство, --	Job 31:5 ^ If I have gone in false ways, or my foot has been quick in working deceit;
Иов 31:6 ^ пусть взвесят меня на весах правды, и Бог узнает мою непорочность.	Job 31:6 ^ (Let me be measured in upright scales, and let God see my righteousness:)
Иов 31:7 ^ Если стопы мои уклонялись от пути и сердце мое следовало за глазами моими, и если что-либо [нечистое] пристало к рукам моим,	Job 31:7 ^ If my steps have been turned out of the way, or if my heart went after my eyes, or if the property of another is in my hands;
Иов 31:8 ^ то пусть я сею, а другой ест, и пусть отрасли мои искоренены будут.	Job 31:8 ^ Let me put seed in the earth for another to have the fruit of it, and let my produce be uprooted.
Иов 31:9 ^ Если сердце мое прельщалось женщиною и я строил ковы у дверей моего ближнего, --	Job 31:9 ^ If my heart went after another man's wife, or if I was waiting secretly at my neighbour's door;
Иов 31:10 ^ пусть моя жена мелет на другого, и пусть другие издеваются над нею,	Job 31:10 ^ Then let my wife give pleasure to another man and let others make use of her body.
Иов 31:11 ^ потому что это--преступление, это--беззаконие, подлежащее суду;	Job 31:11 ^ For that would be a crime; it would be an act for which punishment would be measured out by the judges:
Иов 31:12 ^ это--огонь, поядающий до истребления, который искоренил бы все добро мое.	Job 31:12 ^ It would be a fire burning even to destruction, and taking away all my produce.
Иов 31:13 ^ Если я пренебрегал правами слуги и служанки моей, когда они имели спор со мною,	Job 31:13 ^ If I did wrong in the cause of my man-servant, or my woman-servant, when they went to law with me;
Иов 31:14 ^ то что стал бы я делать, когда бы Бог восстал? И когда бы Он взглянул на меня, что мог бы я отвечать Ему?	Job 31:14 ^ What then will I do when God comes as my judge? and what answer may I give to his questions?
Иов 31:15 ^ Не Он ли, Который создал меня во чреве, создал и его и равно образовал нас в утробе?	Job 31:15 ^ Did not God make him as well as me? did he not give us life in our mothers' bodies?
Иов 31:16 ^ Отказывал ли я нуждающимся в их просьбе и томил ли глаза вдовы?	Job 31:16 ^ If I kept back the desire of the poor; if the widow's eye was looking for help to no purpose;
Иов 31:17 ^ Один ли я съедал кусок мой, и не ел ли от него и сирота?	Job 31:17 ^ If I kept my food for myself, and did not give some of it to the child with no father;
Иов 31:18 ^ Ибо с детства он рос со мною, как с отцом, и от чрева матери моей я руководил [вдову].	Job 31:18 ^ (For I was cared for by God as by a father from my earliest days; he was my guide from the body of my mother;)
Иов 31:19 ^ Если я видел кого погибавшим без одежды и бедного без покрова, --	Job 31:19 ^ If I saw one near to death for need of clothing, and that the poor had nothing covering him;
Иов 31:20 ^ не благословляли ли меня чресла его, и не был ли он согрет шерстью овец моих?	Job 31:20 ^ If his back did not give me a blessing, and the wool of my sheep did not make him warm;
Иов 31:21 ^ Если я поднимал руку мою на сироту, когда видел помощь себе у ворот,	Job 31:21 ^ If my hand had been lifted up against him who had done no wrong, when I saw that I was supported by the judges;
Иов 31:22 ^ то пусть плечо мое отпадет от спины, и рука моя пусть отломится от локтя,	Job 31:22 ^ May my arm be pulled from my body, and be broken from its base.
Иов 31:23 ^ ибо страшно для меня наказание от Бога: пред величием Его не устоял бы я.	Job 31:23 ^ For the fear of God kept me back, and because of his power I might not do such things.
Иов 31:24 ^ Полагал ли я в золоте опору мою и говорил ли сокровищу: ты--надежда моя?	Job 31:24 ^ If I made gold my hope, or if I ever said to the best gold, I have put my faith in you;
Иов 31:25 ^ Радовался ли я, что богатство мое было велико, и что рука моя приобрела много?	Job 31:25 ^ If I was glad because my wealth was great, and because my hand had got together a great store;
Иов 31:26 ^ Смотря на солнце, как оно сияет, и на луну, как она величественно шествует,	Job 31:26 ^ If, when I saw the sun shining, and the moon moving on its bright way,
Иов 31:27 ^ прельстился ли я в тайне сердца моего, и целовали ли уста мои руку мою?	Job 31:27 ^ A secret feeling of worship came into my heart, and my hand gave kisses from my mouth;
Иов 31:28 ^ Это также было бы преступление, подлежащее суду, потому что я отрекся бы [тогда] от Бога Всевышнего.	Job 31:28 ^ That would have been another sin to be rewarded with punishment by the judges; for I would have been false to God on high.
Иов 31:29 ^ Радовался ли я погибели врага моего и торжествовал ли, когда несчастье постигало его?	Job 31:29 ^ If I was glad at the trouble of my hater, and gave cries of joy when evil overtook him;
Иов 31:30 ^ Не позволял я устам моим грешить проклятием души его.	Job 31:30 ^ (For I did not let my mouth give way to sin, in putting a curse on his life;)
Иов 31:31 ^ Не говорили ли люди шатра моего: о, если бы мы от мяс его не насытились?	Job 31:31 ^ If the men of my tent did not say, Who has not had full measure of his meat?
Иов 31:32 ^ Странник не ночевал на улице; двери мои я отворял прохожему.	Job 31:32 ^ The traveller did not take his night's rest in the street, and my doors were open to anyone on a journey;
Иов 31:33 ^ Если бы я скрывал проступки мои, как человек, утаивая в груди моей пороки мои,	Job 31:33 ^ If I kept my evil doings covered, and my sin in the secret of my breast,
Иов 31:34 ^ то я боялся бы большого общества, и презрение одноплеменников страшило бы меня, и я молчал бы и не выходил бы за двери.	Job 31:34 ^ For fear of the great body of people, or for fear that families might make sport of me, so that I kept quiet, and did not go out of my door;
Иов 31:35 ^ О, если бы кто выслушал меня! Вот мое желание, чтобы Вседержитель отвечал мне, и чтобы защитник мой составил запись.	Job 31:35 ^ If only God would give ear to me, and the Ruler of all would give me an answer! or if what he has against me had been put in writing!
Иов 31:36 ^ Я носил бы ее на плечах моих и возлагал бы ее, как венец;	Job 31:36 ^ Truly I would take up the book in my hands; it would be to me as a crown;
Иов 31:37 ^ объявил бы ему число шагов моих, сблизился бы с ним, как с князем.	Job 31:37 ^ I would make clear the number of my steps, I would put it before him like a prince! The words of Job are ended.
Иов 31:38 ^ Если вопияла на меня земля моя и жаловались на меня борозды ее;	Job 31:38 ^ If my land has made an outcry against me, or the ploughed earth has been in sorrow;
Иов 31:39 ^ если я ел плоды ее без платы и отягощал жизнь земледельцев,	Job 31:39 ^ If I have taken its produce without payment, causing the death of its owners;
Иов 31:40 ^ то пусть вместо пшеницы вырастает волчец и вместо ячменя куколь. Слова Иова кончились.	Job 31:40 ^ Then in place of grain let thorns come up, and in place of barley evil-smelling plants.
