約伯記 5	Job 5
約伯記 5:1 ^ 你且呼求．有誰答應你．諸聖者之中．你轉向那一位呢。	Job 5:1 ^ Call now; is there any that will answer thee? And to which of the holy ones wilt thou turn?
約伯記 5:2 ^ 忿怒害死愚妄人、嫉妒殺死癡迷人。	Job 5:2 ^ For vexation killeth the foolish man, And jealousy slayeth the silly one.
約伯記 5:3 ^ 我曾見愚妄人扎下根．但我忽然咒詛他的住處。	Job 5:3 ^ I have seen the foolish taking root: But suddenly I cursed his habitation.
約伯記 5:4 ^ 他的兒女、遠離穩妥的地步、在城門口被壓、並無人搭救。	Job 5:4 ^ His children are far from safety, And they are crushed in the gate, Neither is there any to deliver them:
約伯記 5:5 ^ 他的莊稼、有飢餓的人喫盡了、就是在荊棘裡的、也搶去了．他的財寶、有網羅張口吞滅了。	Job 5:5 ^ Whose harvest the hungry eateth up, And taketh it even out of the thorns; And the snare gapeth for their substance.
約伯記 5:6 ^ 禍患、原不是從土中出來．患難、也不是從地裡發生．	Job 5:6 ^ For affliction cometh not forth from the dust, Neither doth trouble spring out of the ground;
約伯記 5:7 ^ 人生在世必遇患難、如同火星飛騰。	Job 5:7 ^ But man is born unto trouble, As the sparks fly upward.
約伯記 5:8 ^ 至於我、我必仰望　神、把我的事情託付他．	Job 5:8 ^ But as for me, I would seek unto God, And unto God would I commit my cause;
約伯記 5:9 ^ 他行大事不可測度、行奇事不可勝數．	Job 5:9 ^ Who doeth great things and unsearchable, Marvellous things without number:
約伯記 5:10 ^ 降雨在地上、賜水於田裡．	Job 5:10 ^ Who giveth rain upon the earth, And sendeth waters upon the fields;
約伯記 5:11 ^ 將卑微的安置在高處、將哀痛的舉到穩妥之地．	Job 5:11 ^ So that he setteth up on high those that are low, And those that mourn are exalted to safety.
約伯記 5:12 ^ 破壞狡猾人的計謀、使他們所謀的、不得成就。	Job 5:12 ^ He frustrateth the devices of the crafty, So that their hands cannot perform their enterprise.
約伯記 5:13 ^ 他叫有智慧的中了自己的詭計．使狡詐人的計謀速速滅亡。	Job 5:13 ^ He taketh the wise in their own craftiness; And the counsel of the cunning is carried headlong.
約伯記 5:14 ^ 他們白晝遇見黑暗、午間摸索、如在夜間。	Job 5:14 ^ They meet with darkness in the day-time, And grope at noonday as in the night.
約伯記 5:15 ^ 　神拯救窮乏人、脫離他們口中的刀、和強暴人的手。	Job 5:15 ^ But he saveth from the sword of their mouth, Even the needy from the hand of the mighty.
約伯記 5:16 ^ 這樣、貧寒的人有指望、罪孽之輩必塞口無言。	Job 5:16 ^ So the poor hath hope, And iniquity stoppeth her mouth.
約伯記 5:17 ^ 　神所懲治的人是有福的．所以你不可輕看全能者的管教。	Job 5:17 ^ Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: Therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty.
約伯記 5:18 ^ 因為他打破、又纏裹．他擊傷、用手醫治。	Job 5:18 ^ For he maketh sore, and bindeth up; He woundeth, and his hands make whole.
約伯記 5:19 ^ 你六次遭難、他必救你．就是七次、災禍也無法害你。	Job 5:19 ^ He will deliver thee in six troubles; Yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee.
約伯記 5:20 ^ 在饑荒中、他必救你脫離死亡．在爭戰中、他必救你脫離刀劍的權力。	Job 5:20 ^ In famine he will redeem thee from death; And in war from the power of the sword.
約伯記 5:21 ^ 你必被隱藏、不受口舌之害．災殃臨到、你也不懼怕。	Job 5:21 ^ Thou shalt be hid from the scourge of the tongue; Neither shalt thou be afraid of destruction when it cometh.
約伯記 5:22 ^ 你遇見災害飢饉、就必嬉笑．地上的野獸、你也不懼怕。	Job 5:22 ^ At destruction and dearth thou shalt laugh; Neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth.
約伯記 5:23 ^ 因為你必與田間的石頭立約．田裡的野獸、也必與你和好。	Job 5:23 ^ For thou shalt be in league with the stones of the field; And the beasts of the field shall be at peace with thee.
約伯記 5:24 ^ 你必知道你帳棚平安、要查看你的羊圈、一無所失。	Job 5:24 ^ And thou shalt know that thy tent is in peace; And thou shalt visit thy fold, and shalt miss nothing.
約伯記 5:25 ^ 也必知道你的後裔將來發達、你的子孫像地上的青草。	Job 5:25 ^ Thou shalt know also that thy seed shall be great, And thine offspring as the grass of the earth.
約伯記 5:26 ^ 你必壽高年邁纔歸墳墓、好像禾捆到時收藏。	Job 5:26 ^ Thou shalt come to thy grave in a full age, Like as a shock of grain cometh in in its season.
約伯記 5:27 ^ 這理我們已經考察、本是如此．你須要聽、要知道是與自己有益。	Job 5:27 ^ Lo this, we have searched it, so it is; Hear it, and know thou it for thy good.
