Giảng Sư 9:1 ^ Nầy là các việc khác mà ta đã suy nghĩ và chuyên lòng hiểu rõ ràng: ta thấy người công bình và khôn ngoan, luôn với việc làm của họ, đều ở trong tay Đức Chúa Trời; hoặc sự yêu hay là sự ghét, loài người chẳng biết rõ: thảy đều thuộc về cuộc tương lai.	Ecclesiastes 9:1 ^ For all this I laid to my heart, even to explore all this: that the righteous, and the wise, and their works, are in the hand of God; whether it be love or hatred, man knoweth it not; all is before them.
Giảng Sư 9:2 ^ Mọi sự xảy đến cho mọi người như nhau: người công bình hay là kẻ hung ác, người hiền lành, thanh sạch, người dâng của tế lễ hay là người không dâng, người thiện hay là kẻ có tội, kẻ phát thề hay là người sợ lời thề, cả thảy đều đồng hưởng một số phận.	Ecclesiastes 9:2 ^ All things come alike to all: there is one event to the righteous and to the wicked; to the good and to the clean and to the unclean; to him that sacrificeth and to him that sacrificeth not; as is the good, so is the sinner; [and] he that sweareth, as he that feareth an oath.
Giảng Sư 9:3 ^ Tai nạn lớn hơn dưới mặt trời, ấy là mọi người đồng gặp một số phận, lòng loài người đầy dẫy sự hung ác, và sự điên cuồng choán trong lòng họ đương khi sống, rồi họ đi về cùng kẻ chết.	Ecclesiastes 9:3 ^ This is an evil in all that is done under the sun, that there is one event unto all: yea also, the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that [they go] to the dead.
Giảng Sư 9:4 ^ Một người ở trong hội kẻ sống, còn có sự trông mong; vì con chó sống hơn là sư tử chết.	Ecclesiastes 9:4 ^ For to him that is joined with all the living there is hope; for a living dog is better than a dead lion.
Giảng Sư 9:5 ^ Kẻ sống biết mình sẽ chết; nhưng kẻ chết chẳng biết chi hết, chẳng được phần thưởng gì hết; vì sự kỷ niệm họ đã bị quên đi.	Ecclesiastes 9:5 ^ For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not anything, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.
Giảng Sư 9:6 ^ Sự yêu, sự ghét, sự ganh gỗ của họ thảy đều tiêu mất từ lâu; họ chẳng hề còn có phần nào về mọi điều làm ra dưới mặt trời.	Ecclesiastes 9:6 ^ As well their love, as their hatred and their envy, is perished long ago; neither have they any more a portion for ever in anything that is done under the sun.
Giảng Sư 9:7 ^ Hãy đi ăn bánh cách vui mừng, và uống rượu cách hớn hở; vì Đức Chúa Trời đã nhận các công việc ngươi.	Ecclesiastes 9:7 ^ Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God hath already accepted thy works.
Giảng Sư 9:8 ^ Khá hằng mặc áo trắng, chớ thiếu dầu thơm trên đầu ngươi.	Ecclesiastes 9:8 ^ Let thy garments be always white; and let not thy head lack oil.
Giảng Sư 9:9 ^ Trọn các ngày của đời hư không ngươi, mà Đức Chúa Trời ban cho ngươi dưới mặt trời, hãy ở vui vẻ cùng vợ yêu dấu; vì đó là phần của ngươi trong đời nầy, và là điều ngươi được bởi công lao mình làm ở dưới mặt trời.	Ecclesiastes 9:9 ^ Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of thy life of vanity, which he hath given thee under the sun, all thy days of vanity: for that is thy portion in life, and in thy labor wherein thou laborest under the sun.
Giảng Sư 9:10 ^ Mọi việc tay ngươi làm được, hãy làm hết sức mình; vì dưới âm phủ, là nơi ngươi đi đến, chẳng có việc làm, chẳng có mưu kế, cũng chẳng có tri thức, hay là sự khôn ngoan.	Ecclesiastes 9:10 ^ Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do [it] with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, whither thou goest.
Giảng Sư 9:11 ^ Ta xây lại thấy dưới mặt trời có kẻ lẹ làng chẳng được cuộc chạy đua, người mạnh sức chẳng được thắng trận, kẻ khôn ngoan không đặng bánh, kẻ thông sáng chẳng hưởng của cải, và người khôn khéo chẳng được ơn; vì thời thế và cơ hội xảy đến cho mọi người.	Ecclesiastes 9:11 ^ I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.
Giảng Sư 9:12 ^ Lại, loài người chẳng hiểu biết thời thế của mình: như cá mắc lưới, chỉ phải bẫy dò thể nào, thì loài người cũng bị vấn vương trong thời tai họa xảy đến thình lình thể ấy.	Ecclesiastes 9:12 ^ For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare, even so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.
Giảng Sư 9:13 ^ Ta cũng đã thấy sự khôn ngoan nầy dưới mặt trời, thật lấy làm cả thể.	Ecclesiastes 9:13 ^ I have also seen wisdom under the sun on this wise, and it seemed great unto me:
Giảng Sư 9:14 ^ Có thành nhỏ kia được một ít dân sự, một vua cường thạnh đến vây hãm nó, đắp những lũy cao lớn cùng nó.	Ecclesiastes 9:14 ^ There was a little city, and few men within it; and there came a great king against it, and besieged it, and built great bulwarks against it.
Giảng Sư 9:15 ^ Vả, trong thành ấy có một người nghèo mà khôn, dùng sự khôn ngoan mình giải cứu thành ấy; song về sau không ai nhớ đến người nghèo đó.	Ecclesiastes 9:15 ^ Now there was found in it a poor wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city; yet no man remembered that same poor man.
Giảng Sư 9:16 ^ Ta bèn nói rằng: Sự khôn ngoan hơn sức mạnh; nhưng mà sự khôn ngoan của người nghèo bị khinh dể, và lời nói của người không ai nghe.	Ecclesiastes 9:16 ^ Then said I, Wisdom is better than strength: nevertheless the poor man's wisdom is despised, and his words are not heard.
Giảng Sư 9:17 ^ Lời của người khôn ngoan được nghe tại nơi êm lặng còn hơn tiếng kỳ lạ của kẻ cai trị trong đám dại dột.	Ecclesiastes 9:17 ^ The words of the wise heard in quiet are better than the cry of him that ruleth among fools.
Giảng Sư 9:18 ^ Sự khôn ngoan hơn đồ binh khí; nhưng chỉ một người có tội phá hủy được nhiều sự lành.	Ecclesiastes 9:18 ^ Wisdom is better than weapons of war; but one sinner destroyeth much good.
